The Summoned Issues Band Recording And Touring Update

Boston death metallers The Summoned have issued the following update about their recording and touring plans for the upcoming year:

"Steve from The Summoned here, we have a lot planned for 2010 and I figured I'd let you all in on what we got in mind.

"Full Length: We've been talking about this for a while now but next year we plan to record a full length. We're shooting to record in the spring. Tentative title is 'If Minds Could Only Paint Pictures.' We'll keep you posted.

"Music Video: Directed/Recorded by Brian Thompson of Drive-By Bukkake. Not sure what song yet or anything but we've been thinking of ideas. When it's set in stone we'll let you know.

"New Stage Setup: Bigger is better. More lights, banners, and stuff. Should be a real cool addition to our live show. New Endorsements: We'll be announcing them very soon. New MySpace Layout: Designed by Steve | Media, look for it early January.

"Harvest Out of Print: We will most likely not be reprinting 'Harvest' once it's physically sold out so you'll have to order it digitally through iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Amazon, etc...from then on or if you're too broke look for it online. We prefer you buy it of course so we can save up for new merch, van, etc.

"New Merch: We'll be looking to have some new shirt designs, hoodies perhaps?

"Tour: Hoping to plan a tour for the summer. Not sure if it'll be east coast, mid-west, or hell maybe even Canada. We have no idea yet, still too soon all we know is we want to tour.

"I think that about covers it, as usual we'll be playing lots of shows and doing what we usually do. Those are just some of the bigger plans we have for next yet. Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday!"
