Zebulon Kosted Inks Deal With Fall Of Eden Records

Rachid of solo ambient black metal act Zebulon Kosted has issued the following announcement about signing to Fall of Eden Records:

"Die Nibelungen Part 2 - Death of a Hero will soon be available from Satanica Records in New Zealand on CD and Thorn Laceration Records in The United Kingdom on Cassette. I am still very proud of the first release in the Die Nibelungen trilogy, Dragons Blood, and Death of a Hero is even more powerful and continues the trilogy with an album that compliments DB yet stands alone on its own.

"Since October I have been recording The Thuru Project which is being produced by Nederlander Jos Van Der Geest. Jos and I have worked together to come up with a 130 minute 2 Disc vision of darkness and desperation which will be unleashed upon the world January 15th, 2010. My Dutch brother from another mother Jos should be given the credit for this epic work, he has motivated, encouraged and inspired me throughout the writing process of this new creation.

"The biggest news of all is that I am now signed to a 3 year contract with the Scottish label Fall of Eden Records! I will be releasing a new full length album through David McColls devastatingly awesome label on April 4th, 2010. David and I have bonded over Scottish Soccer statistics, and he was the first major record label owner to approach me about a larger contract, for which I am forever indebted to him.

"Regrettably but inevitably a difficult decision has been made about Zebulon Kosted being involved with download sales and electronic payment. I have stated in the past that I would resist selling downloads for as long as possible, and that I was personally against purely digital music sales. Now I have to make a financial decision as a professional musician, to continue my career with the times, to the benefit of my family, or resist what is happening around me, and fall behind the times. I've decided to sell downloads to help my career, and to add income to my household. I've decided to sell music via credit card transaction once again, even though this has resulted in difficulties in the past. I hope that these are the correct decisions, even though they still don't feel like something I should be doing.

"The Persona Series is still active and has been VERY rewarding for me since I began recording commissioned albums in July of this year. I will continue to record these as long as I feel like doing it, so its all up to me I guess, which feels nice! I have had nothing but positive feedback from all the fans who have ordered these personalized Cassettes so far.

"Thanks to my family and friends for supporting me through all of the trials and tribulations the band has gone through, keep an eye out for Zebulon Kosted on the West Coast this Spring!"
