Quietus Cancels Dimestock Appearance Due To Vocalist Injury
Quietus has issued the following statement about pulling out of Dimestock 2009:
"Mike is a BA. On this last Saturday, at our first show at the 406 Club and our last in Great Falls until next year, Mike was too fuckin metal. He woke up the following day spitting up blood and had to go to the ER. Turns out that he lacerated his vocal cords at the show. Now he is on the IR list and unable to sing for at least 3 weeks. So as much as it sucks giant balls we had to back out of Dimestock. No more shows until next year. Its a missed opportunity and something we were jacked to play, but how can you be mad at a guy who will give that much on stage? Mike's a metal motherfucker."
Dimestock is a tribute to Dimebag Darrell that takes place on December 12th at the Palace Lounge in Missoula, Montana. The other confirmed bands include Universal Choke Sign, BlessidDoom, and River Runs Red.
