Zyklon Complete Work on Second Album

Norwegian death metallers Zyklon have officially completed work on second album Aeon, the much-anticipated follow-up to 2001's roaring World ov Worms.

"Finally! The new material is completed and the band has started recording the new album at Akkerhaugen Lydstudio (Emperor, Red Harvest, etc.)," explains Zyklon on their official website, www.zyklontribe.com. "The mix will be done in Sweden at Fredman Studios with producer Fredrik Nordström."

"The band is very excited to finally hit the studio. The material is more varied and the song writing in general is much stronger. The new material is also said to be way more heavy compared to the debut, probably not as intense in terms of actual speed, but aggressive no doubt!"

The official track listing for Aeon is:

1. Psyklon Aeon
2. Core Solution
3. Two Thousand Years
4. No Names Above the Names
5. The Prophetic Method
6. Specimen Eruption
7. Electric Current
8. An Eclectic Manner
In similar news, Zyklon are set to appear in London, England at Camden Underworld on June 6th, 2003 as a one-off show with fellow Norwegians Myrkskog and British black metallers Reign of Erebus. Zyklon will perform material off Aeon.

In more news, Zyklon's new remix 7" split with industrial metallers Red Harvest has been released. Only 1,000 copies were printed. Nocturnal Art Production's Void dismantled both bands' songs for the release.

Aeon is scheduled for a worldwide release through Candlelight Records in September. Stay tuned
