Thoughts while counting the number of spandex body suits worn in the David Lee Roth video “Yankee Rose”…

For those that refuse to place KISS into the hair band genre please take a look at exhibit A: The video for “Forever”: It’s as if both Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley walked into wardrobe and asked for the Rikki Rocket…On the topic of bad hair, there is not a worse wig then the one worn by the principle in Motley Crue’s version of “Smoking In The Boys Room”…

Is it a rule that Quiet Riot has to use the word CRAZY in each of their songs? Only Motley Crue surpasses this with their liberal use of HOLLYWOOD…More shocking in Ratt’s “Lay It Down” video: The clown, Robin Crosby’s hair, or the five year old boy wishing to bang the little five year old girl? Let’s play it safe and call this one a tie…

More on “Yankee Rose”, Thank you David Lee Roth for the line “Give me a bottle of anything and a glazed donut!”...

So am I understanding correctly that according to Jon Bon Jovi in the video for “Wanted Dead or Alive” it’s really exhausting to travel by private jets and limos?...I still stand by my initial comment: All DIO videos scare me…

I believe the song “Something to Believe In” would receive more radio rotation had it not been by Poison…In Warrant’s “Down Boys” video we see only a couple seconds of what looks to be a homeless man next to a burning barrel. What exactly happened here? My guess is there was a budget for a main actor and instead the money got spent on black leather jackets…

Outside of Hugh Laurie’s acting on House no one utilizes a cane as a stage prop better than Alice Cooper…Was there a production meeting prior to shooting Ozzy’s “Shot in the Dark” where someone stood up and said, “Okay, then it’s settled. Everyone is wearing a robe!”…

In Felix’s “Heavy Metal Love” the main girl is attractive, or scary, or attractive, or I just can’t decide after four viewings…The girl in Babylon’s A.D. “Bang Go The Bells” is attractive. Kudos to the Casting Director…

In Twisted Sister’s “I Wanna Rock” there is a sequence where the authority figure is holding a grenade and pulls the pin. He throws the pin and realizes the only way to come out of this scenario alive is by jumping into a pool with a live grenade. He jumps and predictably is blown out, hitting his head on a diving board. He miraculously lives through this and is seen using dynamite in the next scene. My question is this: Was an episode of The Road Runner & Coyote the inspiration for these sequences?...

Warrant’s “Big Talk” has not held up well, Ozzy’s “Crazy Train” has…Is it strange that to me the lead singer from Warlock sounds like Blackie Lawless?...Jackyl’s “Lumberjack” is maybe the only performance where the lead singer seamlessly changes from a sombrero, to flannel, to a jumpsuit…

”Girlschool” by Britny Fox takes the staple school girls in uniform and turns them wild. Did you know that strippers that dress as school girls make 40% more in tips? Actually I just made that up, but it sounds about right to me…

If Van Halen’s video “Jump” cost $600 then L.A. Guns “Bitch is Back” cost $62…Def Lepard’s “Photograph” showcases Joe Elliot’s hair and jeans. It is the same hair all the pot dealers had in my school…
