Gravespawn Announces Upcoming Live Dates

California black metallers Gravespawn have announced they will be playing at Yayos In Las Vegas Nevada on October 31st and at The BlackCastle in Los Angeles, California on Novemer 13th. Samples of Gravespawn's music can be found at this location. The band has also issued the following statement regarding their thoughts on music:

"Fuck you!!! Gravespawn will NEVER:

"1) Live in the shadow of the European black metal scene. We are USBM and proud. We are not Cold Nordic Moonfrost from the frostless southwest ripping off Darkthrone and Burzum like a bunch of fucking tools because we feel it necessary to pay homage or conform to the standards of a scene far away from our homes. No disrespect to European black metal intended. Nothing but disrespect to the ones who think that we're below them because we're American.

"2) Perform or record cover songs. When our songs begin to suck out of a lack of creativity, then perhaps we'll feel the need to play cover songs.

"3) Pay to play or sell tickets. Last I checked, we're not hookers working the streets of Sunset Blvd. See also #1.

"4) Be too 'trve or kvlt' to write decent shit and record it with decent production.

"5) Consider ourselves above the black metal metal title or too grown up for corpse paint. We are BLACK METAL, not darkened abysmal metal, nun desecration metal, or any other ridiculous title used by a bunch of self righteous cock fags who are apparently more mature than we are.

"6) Endorse any Satanic/Luciferian church or bible as they are all equally retarded as any other organized religion. Organized satanic religion defeats the purpose of being satanic in the first place.

"Excuse us if we're just too fucking proud. We are subservient to nothing."
