A metal site isn't the best place to b**** about this, but why are Story of the Year not at least co-headlining? This is more than just a preference thing for me, but I do think SOTY kicks the sh** out of them. Are The Devil Wears Prada really more popular than them these days?

Story of the year isn't that old band rly. Also ATR is most popular of these. I was kinda suprised that The Devil wears prada was headlining, but what can i say.

I prefer SOTY to any other band in they're genre, but why is all that remains touring with such mainstream bands lately? And believe it or not Frank, i just saw ATR friday night in philly with Lancuna Coil and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, and they rocked it. Much much MUCH better than when i saw them at Mayhem this summer, but then again, they went on right before Behethom, and were on the same bill as Slayer and Cannibal Corpse, so they didn't have much of a chance. I guess thats kinda my point though, if your gonna turn up your intensity live, why scale back the intensity of the bands you tour with?

I can deal w/ All That Remains playing over SOTY, even if Overcome did suck, they've been around a while and have three other solid albums I can listen to. But it's just insulting to be playing under a 3rd/4th wave metalcore band such as The Devil Wears Prada.

Edit from post #4...Funeral for a Friend "Hours" era was the best thing ever produced from all that mainstream post hardcore stuff that was popular a few years ago. But both FFAF and SOTY always got way too carried away with the f***ing emo lyrics, and FFAF has now lost all they're aggression and suck balls. But anyway, back to metal. ATR dipped they're sack in emo lyrics on Overcome, so i guess they just wanna go that way now. Damn shame.

Whatever they sucked at Mayhem, they sucked when they opened for In Flames. They suck live. Maybe that's why they are touring with these other gay soft bands. ATR slowly turning into ATReyu.

SOTY is my Favo band.
All That Remains rocks 4 sure.

The others do have a good sound but the lyrics are not so my thing.

I'm not a metal fan tough, so that may explain my opinion XD

ATR is awesome live. I'm disappointed they aren't coming to Pittsburgh again. They are the only band I know that will change their set list to accomodate the wants of the fans. I love them.
