Agalloch Has Ritual Item Stolen During Milwaukee Tour Date

Portland's Agalloch has issued the following statement about having a ritual item stolen during a show in Milwaukee:

"We had an excellent time in Milwaukee last night and the audience was wonderful. It was a great surprise. However, a very important canine skull was stolen from the stage during 'The Lodge' and we would like to get it back.

"It is a very sentimental piece and we would like to think that the person who grabbed it simply did not consider this. There were a lot of random horns and bones scattered across the front of the stage that perhaps didn't look important or replaceable. This skull is not replaceable!

"If whoever took it would bring it to the Chicago show tonight and would just put it on the stage, all will be forgiven and forgotten. We do not want our memories of these Midwest gigs to be tainted.

"Thank you."

King Leonidas is in agolloch!

But really, hope they get that back, thats kind of like getting your girlfriend stolen off stage, even if she was just lying around on stage and what not...

Epic FAIL on the part of the fan who swiped the skull...Hey, it can be normal for the crowd to get a little riled up about seeing their favorite artist perform live--but if y'all want a souvenir support the band and buy a fargin' T-shirt instead of dismantling their stage setup!!! Just as bad as if any of their sound equipment was stolen.

I'm betting the jerk didn't understand that the item could be of such importance and just wanted to claim a trophy in front of friends or impress a girlfriend/boyfriend ("because dude, uh, I'm a hipster and animal skulls are like, uh, soooo bad*ss!"). Oh well, hope they either have the integrity to return it or else be forever haunted by a Wolf Spirit...
