Heavy metal group Machine Head has announced that they will be heading to Europe in January for their "The Black Procession" tour. This will be the last part of their touring in support of their critically acclaimed 2007 album, "The Blackening." Joining them on the tour will be Hardcore Metal group Hatebreed, Bleeding Through and All Shall Perish.

Frontman Robb Flynn states: "After three years of touring we are beyond stoked to finish this tour cycle on our own terms, with our show, our stage, our production, our control, and we're lucky enough to bring three of our favorite bands along with us, it's going to be fucking massive!" Machine Head have also decided to do things a little differently for the fans this time around and will be playing two or more intimate shows in 3,000 - 4,000 seat venues instead of the massive arena shows fans have grown accustomed to.

Bassist Adam Duce adds, "Having done arenas now since The Black Crusade as well as the Metallica and Slipknot tours, we thought it would be killer to give the fans a chance to have a couple different setlists, and mix things up a bit. It's gonna be fun for us to see which gems we dig up!"

Blind - busy summer, and no offense to DB, but the forum layout is kinda crushed and disorganised (needs moar differentiation), so I don't venture there much.

Be back at uni in a couple of weeks, and will be going to all the fall gigs I can (Cannibal corpse on Halloween night, porcupine tree, amon amarth etc etc if I get the tickets - gonna be out like 100 quid the day I go over buying everything), and I'll most likely be on MU a lot more too.

On topic - Hatebreed were pretty good when I saw them at Graspop but there are definitely better bands to choose as direct support. Bleeding through are average, fair support band, no real problems.
All shall perish. Me no likey the deathcore so much.

Still, be hitting it up for the mighty Machine F-ing Head \m/

Irish: I see. Sounds like you'll be busy attending shows which leads me to believe you are keeping the horns up. Enjoy the MFH show. Just get drunk while the deathcore sh!t is playing. That's what I do. lol. Cheers!

Wilco - I thought they were ok, but I wouldn't like a whole show of Hardcore music.

Graspop was pretty sweet all round.

And Blind - horns up all the f***in way.
