As a loyal follower of the franchise this movie makes me nervous..i hope its the greatest thing in the world, but from some of the stills, plot line, and quotes i ve viewed, im preparing to be disappointed...none the less rob resurrected the franchise after those duds ( h20 and resurrection) and i give him all the credit in the world for doing that...will be there opening day...fyi bg, i heard saw 7 is already in the writting stages and finances are already set..
I really wish he just tagged these movies as "sequels" rather than remakes.
I just watched the Last House remake last night, and all of these regurgitated ideas are making me sick.
God damn Michael Bay for starting Platinum Dunes! I don't care so much about Zombie doing them, but Michael Bay? Come on!
^^^Nope. 8 is as far as it will go. Had you read the book, you'd know that there is 8 movies in this series.
L2AE: Actually i'm okay with calling these remakes. They aren't actually sequels because the storyline is not the same as the origional. There are some similarities, for obvious reasons, but I like what Rob's done with it so far.
Saw8.......wow. well...i ll i can say is enjoy bg
Last good horror movie i saw was devils rejects...before that?...sh!t probably halloween 6 the curse of MM...im not into supernatural high tech/comp graphic horror...for me,the more realistic a movie is, the better
Saw the movie as well and it was disappointing...overall an average movie...had its moments, but it was predictable, vague and cliche in many senses....prediction, itll make a ton of money this weekend, but when the word is out it ll nose dive like fri the 13th did in week 2 and beyond.....highlite of the movie for me was the kill scenes, the most disappointing probably the direction rob took with the sam loomis character....im one of the biggest fans of the halloween franchise, but im also one of their harshest critics as well.
