Orden Ogan Issues Studio Update

German metal band, Orden Ogan, has issued the following studio update expressing the band's frustrations in the studio:

"It's unbelievable. We're in the studio TRYING to record the new stuff for the upcoming record 'EASTON HOPE.'
But somehow an evil spirit seems to be with us.
Let me give you some examples:"

"- starting to record first track. we realize that Seebs main guitar (Ibanez Paul Gilbert Signature 10th anniversary), also the best guitar available, is out of tune. oh, no. its not out of tune - it's tuned. what the..? mmh seems to be the fret intonation. Seems as if she didn't survive the flight back from NYC..."

"- all the other guitars simply don't sound good enough"

"- went to music store brilon (2,5 h drive) to get a real good guitar just for the recordings, back in the studio we have to realize that it IS a good guitar but unfortunately it doesn't work with the extremely deep tuning (Drop-A) for EASTON HOPE"

"- Tobi comes to stay at the studio over nigth to work with Seeb several days, the next Seeb gets heavily sick..."

"- the next day we start up the computer. nothing. fuck the computer is broken - no - there's no power?! nothing works? oh, it's just the 350,- Euro MONSTER jack that cleans up the power (= no hum or cracks or pops...) ... great. here we go again to music world brilon (2,5 h)"

"- the guitar problem... luckily our friend Lars Dietrich gives us two of his guitars (that are perfetly in tune and so on) to chose from. we make our choice and take a very old USA Jackson with an AWESOME sound. so, again back in the studio and ready to record guitars. oh, wait - we need new strings. so, we take the old strings of and suddenly... THE NUT FALLS OF!!... it's just unbelievable..."
