KISS Frontman Paul Stanley Reveals New Album Release Date

While rock legends KISS were performing at the Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest, frontman Paul Stanley announced to the crowd that the band will be releasing their first studio album in eleven years on October 6th. Stay tuned for more information on the album including the title, artwork and tracklisting.

The last album I got of their's KISS is called "Psycho Circus" but surely that hasn't been 11yrs ago - if so well time has surely "flashed" by! I liked Psycho Circus" it was truely a ultimate return album/Cd for the four legendary original Kiss members Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley (his my favorite & always will be then it's Gene!) & Peter Criss respectfully. I have my moments likin' them then not likin' them cause of the awful split-up back in the very late '70's & early '80's: it really does a number on the fans (crushed my heart!) when band members go their separate ways. I guess even now I have my ups & downs but I do wish each origional member the best 'cause that's whom I'm more accustom to and cherish most: Ace, Peter, Paul & Gene and Eric Carr may he rest in harmony & other highly acclaimed musicians that appeared in KISS as well like Bruce Kullick & Eric Singer. Anyway all the best to KISS and their up & coming new album: I like those Coca-Cola commercials of Gene w/his son, cool!
I'm always amazed that whenever I visit a site posting information of interest to Kiss fans, a few dopes show up and post about how much they hate the band - Kiss sucks, they're old, Gene's greedy, blah, blah, blah.
Why don't you idiots find something else to do? The fact that you take time to post shows that you are interested in the band.
You Wanted The Best You Got The Best The Hottest Band In The World KISS.. And yeah all you haters do what kap said.. Seriously all you haters are all the same Gene and Money and Old.. You guys need some new Material. And this album is supposed to be great in every sense.. And their last great album was Psycho Circus and before that Revenge was awesome.. They are selling out stadium after stadium so why not keep going? So all who Haters You tell me what your Bands have done lately.. I tell ya what they are not doing what KISS has done and continue to do sell albums, set attendance records, sell more merchandise in one day than u have bought in your entire life. (That one may be a bit bold but seriously). You hate em cause you aint em' get over it.. The KISS ARMY deals with enough sh%& from the industry which continues to overlook everything they have done ALA Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. But Im not gonna get into that. As Far as Family Jewels once again someones watching it myself included to be in what the 4th season I believe.. So hate em all u want but shut your mouth about what you dont know.. I hate alot of so called famous all time great Bands and Artist but do I go Blah blah Blah on a website or page whatever NO... To each their own.... KISS ARMY FOR LIFE

we metal heads started out some or the other way with kiss
but they used to be good a looooooooooooooooong time ago
but now they are just a bunch of money sucking greedy freaks
and their music sucks
if they would had stayed stuck in the past
at least there music would be good than
but now
like for example the show gene has come on ,
makes me want to cry
and yes there are other bands we can lissen to
so please lets forget kiss and move on

I used to be in the "Kiss Army" before most of you guys were even born, also got alot of slack for it too!!!! My comments are just my opinion and I don't need some 12 year old coming on this web-site telling me to "shut up"........far as I'm concerned, go put your crap on youtube or better yet, myspace. If you are not mature enough to understand that we are just expressing how we feel about the topic at hand........than stay off of this site......I certainly don't need any of that drama in my life!!!!!

If KISS stayed in the 70's they would have been just like everything they didnt want be those other bands... I mean we all know if ya heard one AC/DC album you have heard em all. All them so called Classic Bands either didnt try or all suffered the 80's curse.. The 90's were a little kinder to these bands cause we all know music recycles itself every what 20 yrs. But I think KISS dealt with the 80's the best they could. Then we have to consider the lineup changes and so on. Then the reunion changed that all and now they are back wanting to make a so called classic KISS album. All I am saying is just appreciate what they did what they have done and are trying to do.. But seriously like em or not just respect em'.........

but they become a monster and a greedy money machine

but on the end we have to wait and see

I've always respected Kiss and have been a fan since '77, I even have the Kissology DVD's, all I am saying is Gene has turned this band into a corporation, he already has more money than one can imagine, so why keep putting the Kiss logo on more products?...........Greed, that's why, it's not like all the proceeds go to charity........now maybe you can understand my point!!!........I hear you wilco, bought all their albums up to "elder"......than bought "Lick it up" and "Animalized" even saw the lick tour with "Accept" as the opening act....Who knew about Vinnie at that time...sheesh....

Well, it's clear that ignorance is running rampant on this discussion board. People that know nothing of KISS put them down yet how many bands have accomplished what KISS has? They haven't been around for 35 years for nothing. The ignorant make claims about greed, how many of us work for free? How many of the ignorants on this board have actually seen a KISS concert or have followed them throughout there ups and downs? I assure you not many, yet it is these few that claim they know it all, isn't that typical of an ignorant individual. You have a right to your opinion, sure but make it an informed opinion not one based on no facts and pure and simple stupidity. I guess public discussion forums like this one bring out the uneducated, and it couldn't be more clear based on the comments read here.

I´ll make this quick. I loved Kiss as a kid, and their early albums still rock.
But, Kiss to release another album now is like Clint Eastwood doing a new Dirty Harry movie. Clint was smart enough to say "That was decades ago and sometimes it´s smart to just to leave a good thing alone".
I wish someone would have said that to Paul and Gene.
you should all hope that they put out something other than the same sounding crap we've been getting from all these other bands.why not hear it first then make an intelligent comment.and of coarse its about money you f***ing retards.how many bands that dont make money are still around? none.the kiss army has been giving the haters the finger for 35 years and wouldnt want it any other way !
