McQueen Parts Ways with Guitarist Cat de Casanove

UK rockers, McQueen, have issued the following update regarding the departure of guitarist Cat de Casanove:

"It's with great sadness and a heavy heart that after six years of blood, sweat and tears, we officially announce the resignation of guitarist Cat de Casanove."

"Unfortunately, as with many relationships in life, people grow apart and ultimately want different things. After these six years and many ups and downs, Cat has decided that she would like to pursue other ventures and both Leah Duors and Hayley Cramer wish her the absolute best of luck and will continue to support her in whatever she decides to do in the future. She will be sorely missed!"

"As you are all aware, McQueen has seen it's fair share of members floating in and out. Hayley and Leah are committed to continue building upon all of their combined hard work over the years and will deliver their fans a killer second album, which you all have waited so patiently for. But life is not without complications and tribulations, but they intend on overcoming all of them and continuing on the legacy of McQueen!"

"McQueen would also like to thank their good mate Mark for playing in Cat's spot last night in front of 20,000 people at the Quart Festival in Kristiansand Norway and pulling off a great gig during difficult circumstances. We certainly wanted Cat to play this one last gig as main support for Slash on his big night but she elected not to."

"We also thank Slash for giving us this great opportunity and Leah was delighted to perform 'Nightrain' during 'Slash and Friends' set in the company of great musicians and vocalists Ozzy Osbourne, Fergie, Jason Bonham, Ronnie Wood, Chris Chaney, John Five, and Frankie Perez."

"We are in the midst of a world recession which effects musicians too and has put added pressure on McQueen. McQueen will be back and better than ever, once the dust has settled!"

"Our main priority now is to build McQueen back up so that we can once again be playing for our fans/friends who have supported us through all of our transitional hardships and triumphs!"
