Ferox Canorus Announces Line Up Changes
Band Photo: Dark Empire (?)
NJ progressive metal band, Ferox Canorus, has issued the following message about the progress of their recording and departure of bassist Andres Villota:
"Recording of the EP is coming along. Slow, but it's happening. A substantial chunk should be finished this weekend and that leaves some odds and ends as well as the vocals. Unfortunately, vocals will not be recorded until we choose our lead singer. We have done (and are conducting) auditions still and I would like to say we will know in another week or two... in any case, you will know as soon as we know!"
"Some good news: Ivan has returned to the band as our guitarist! Aside from some back up vocals and some pretty epic screams, Ivan will not be returning as lead singer as he believes it is best for that role to be left to someone else."
"The bad news: as the band gains back a founding member it loses another one: Andres, due to circumstances beyond his control, will be leaving the band. He will be greatly missed as his unique approach to the bass has influenced much of the band's sound. We all wish him luck and hope to see him again!"
"Filling his shoes will be Randy Knecht: bass player for the melodic death metal band, Dark Empire."
