Biclops Issues Studio Update

Chris Alfano, guitarist of NJ progressive metal band, Biclops, has issued the following update regarding the progress of their upcoming album:

"So it's update day and I just got home an hour ago. From where you ask? From a recording studio. Not the recording studio, the one where we tracked the record, but from another studio, from which we tracked more of the record."

"We spend two weeks writing a new song based on a very old riff (the first riff we ever worked on after Jim left the band), because we thought the album was a little too relentless and it needed a breather. Then over the last couple days we went and wrote another song. Both are two to three and a half minute moody instrumentals, longer and more involved than mere segues but not quite full songs (although the longer song is about as involved as Wisp of Tow, the already existing instrumental on the record). We're really happy with how they came out though."

"So you don't get a media update this week. But you get two more songs on the record. I'd say that's a fair trade. What's funny is that by Friday we're supposed to have final mixes of the songs we recorded with Will, and here we are on Tuesday recording two more songs. Rad."

"We also recorded two actual segues: tracks that are less than a minute to just give some context between songs. Dope."
