Band Photo: Slipknot (?)
Members of Korn, Slipknot and Sevendust will be joining forces together to record an instrumental song with all the benefits being donated to Deftones bass player Chi Cheng, who is still in a semi-conscious state following a road accident last November. Stay tuned for more details.

I hate how people assume that beacuse Slipknot makes big money they are only in it for the money. And what makes them scum anyways? The fact that they are making a charity song for someone? Or that they make more money than your favorite band?
Music is their job, and they want to get paid. You want to get paid for your job don't you? They work hard for their money, you work hard for yours.
the connection is Clint Lowery (sevendust) played with Korn for a year. Chino (deftones) does vocals for a track on sevendust's 2nd disc 'Hone' and all of these bands have played together, especially slipknot and sevendust who were both mainstage for tattoo the earth festival
T_O_G, yeah The Cure are (well... were) brilliant. They've got one amazing catalog.
On metal side of things, I like Slipknot's "Iowa" plus I think they're a band with a unique sound, like it or not. As for Korn, no thanks, not for me. Sevendust has some good stuff. They're a bit more melodic but still good stuff. My complaint with them is that most of their albums are 50% good and the rest of the stuff's just plain average / who cares level. Heh.. I thought Id get murdered here for even mentioning INXS! "Welcome to Wherever you are" is one brilliant album, just for the record
Korn are great in comparison to these other bands. Sh1tslot has gotten extremely out of hand. Theres a kid who calls himself a metalhead, yet every thread of clothing hes got has the SlipKnot label on it. I wouldn't be suprised if they make Slipknot nappies for the two year old "maggot".
i'd love to be the douchebag that says every single one of these bands are terrible with no musical credibility and that only poseur mall/hardcore kids with their flatcaps and chain pants would listen to this crap.
yeah! breakdooownss and retardcore dancing wooo metall br00tal.
Go buy a Manowar album or something and educate yourselves.
