Black Label Society To Tour With Mudvayne And Static-X

Hard rock group Black Label Society will be teaming up for a tour with Mudvayne and Static-X later this year. A message from the band reads as follows:

"Big thanks to all of you dedicated crazy SDMF'rs that came out to a show on our Black Label Bash Tour! Much thanks to those of you who purchased meet and greet packages, your generosity is making a difference in the lives of children at St. Jude's. God bless all of you for making this tour a successful one! We are at home now and are going to spend some time with our families and then we will see you again this summer! We have another US tour lined up with MUDVAYNE and STATIC X! As well as some overseas festival dates! Stay tuned for more details!"

I was at the Black Label Bash in Chicago, Sevendust stole the show, but BLS was pretty good too. Dope was ok, I missed Infinite Staircase.
As for this tour; Static X is good live although I don't really like what Ive heard from the new disc. Mudvayne...meh.

Watched Static-x with the 'Kid Slayer' guitarsit back in 2004, they were a very decent live performance with quite a load of energy... I have to ask, why would BLS be touring with the likes of Mudvayne???

I think also their guitar sounds (in both cases) have gone down in recent years. I definitely preferred the way Zakk sounded on No rest For the Wicked than on his recent releases. Also Alexi's sound is pretty lame compared what it was a few years back

I saw them at Tattoo the Earth about 9 years ago as one of the openers for Slayer Sevendust and Sepultura (awesome show). I've also seen them headline a show. The last few "discs" weren't very good.

thank you post 27, ive been to hundreds of concerts, mudvayne is one of the best performers live, in fact there the best band of this bill and their concerts almost sounds like their cd, really dont like BLS, last time i saw static x there were millions of homos at the show, not to interested in that, who gives a sh** of there new stuff isnt their greatest record, mudvayne always plays old school

I have seen Static-X (who were quite impressive), I have seen Mudvayne 3 times (Best concert i have ever seen too!) But i have never seen Black Label Society, and i want too.... badly.

So while they say they are coming oversea's for a festivals. I hope Australian is included in that list.
