Orange Goblin Posts Album Update

British doom metal group Orange Goblin has posted an update on their anticipated new studio album. The message reads as follows: "Song writing for the next Orange Goblin album is ongoing but looks very promising with the skeletons of four or five new songs already in place. Two rough working titles for the new songs so far include ‘Red Tide Rising’ and ‘The Bishop’s Wolf’.

"All of Orange Goblin would also like to extend their sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of Jon Blank, who died on Saturday May 2nd. Jon was the bassist in REZIN and more recently a member of WINO's touring band who recently played with Orange Goblin at the Roadburn festival in The Netherlands.”

In addition, the band has announced some more shows throughout Europe. The tour schedule is now as follows:

June 21 - Clisson, France - Hellfest Open Air Festival
July 25 - Gdynia, Poland - Globaltica Festival
August 14 - Castellina Marittima, Nr. Pisa, Italy - Musica W Festival
September 12 - London, UK - The Camden Underworld
