Helcaraxe Announces New Line Up
Vocalist Jesse Traynor from the NJ metal band, Helcaraxe, has issued the following update:
"First, I want to announce our new member, drummer Mike Donatelli. Three of us have played with him in the past and he is a crushing, talented drummer, who has now rounded out our full line-up. With Mike on board, we'll now be able to play out live. I'm not sure which of you are excited to see us, but I assure you, you will not be disappointed."
"I uploaded some songs today that haven't been on our myspace before. One is 'Litany of the False God' from our debut cd, ‘Triumph and Revenge.’ The other is 'Vengeance at Orodruin' from the ‘No God To Save You’ ep from last year. We have a ton of new recorded material, but I'm going to hold off on putting that online until we at least figure out a release date."
"The artwork, layout, and recording is all complete for our second full length, 'BROADSWORD.' I expect that it will go to press shortly!! If you haven't seen the artwork yet, check it out in our pictures. The painting was done by Alan Lathwell, a fantasy artist and it represents the music perfectly."
The music is also fully recorded for our split with dark death metallers Father Befouled. It is by far our darkest and most crushing material yet. There is also a fucking destructive cover of an Amorphis track from the Karelian Isthmus record we have completed!"
"And lastly, we are writing and recording new material for a split 7" record with another band, as well as a new EP! More details to come when I have them. Hails and thanks for all the support, you fucking death metal maniacs!"
