Just picked up the new Mastodon today, couldn't get my hands on it anywhere (welcome to South Africa), 7 tracks of pure genious.
Have been through it 4 times and it's settling in quickly... Always a good sign!

Chimaira, being that that's what this thread is about, are probably about to release their best work to date, after slating the vocals on numerous ocassions, I have a good feeling about this album...

Mushroomhead would not fill the size venues they're playing, so there'd be no point.

holy sh**. ^check it out, listenin to it right now.

I had heard the song secrets of the deaed beforehand, and I had hated it, I was all set and ready to not like this album at all; but the opening track "Venom inside" has convinced me entirely otherwise.

so far, the album is badass. It needs to be played loud as hell too. the rest of the occupants of the household just went out to the park or some queer sh**, so I decided to play something loud as f***, and I gotta tell ya, I'm glad I chose this album, cause it sounds f***in sick this loud.

Now Playing: Chimaira- the Disapearing sun
