Polish black metal group Behemoth has posted the third in a series of videos chronicling the recording of their new studio album online. You can check it out below. The band is currently working in B Room of Radio Gdansk, tracking down solos and vocals with Jan Bryt behind the mixing board.

A message from bass player Orion reads as follows: "We're getting further and further with the work on this new album, the end is near! For bass tracks recording I used tested, verified and proven for years ESP basses and Sansamp preamplifier. Plus quite new in my arsenal – Marbass amp and cabinet. This time, there was less of searching and more of self-confidence, realizing very definite and precise goals in the matter of sound. Resolutely, it's the most efficient and conscious recording session of Behemoth!"

---lol. Me and the guys always make fun of Zakk Wylde overdoing the pinch harmonics.

The album, so far, sounds like its gonna be good. Like a cross between Zos Kia Cvltvs, Demigod, and The Apostasy all in one.

While I'm not really crazy into death metal, but this band is down right outstanding. They have that "x factor" that most bands of that similar intensity lack. I can't wait for the new album!

Just formt he sound clips I heard, I'm buying this day of release. Even if Nergal suddnely decides to stop growling and start yodeling intead, I'll still buy it. The music already sounds too awesome for a little thing like vocals to stop me from getting this album.

but I'm sure Nergal will still give me exactly want I want to hear....indistinguisable gutteral ramblings about f***ing christians in the a$$ with jesus action figures. Well, maybe not quite that, but still...that would be brOOtal.

Now Playing: ^that clip up there again, I'm THAT desperate for more behemoth....

Its comments like F_A_N's that make me wish there was an "Add to friends" button on MU.

I wouldn't go as far as, say, yodeling. But I bet he could get away with clean vocals and still come out brutal.

the song Inner sanctum had pretty much what I would call black metal clean vocals, but I think that was another band member doing those anyway.

but yeah, a frontman like gaahl would probably find a way to bring in some f***in brOOtal clean vox to be honest. My one fear for the new Lamb of God record(wrath) was that they would add breakdowns and clean vocals, since that was all the rage at the time, and it always made the bands that used them sound really gay. They added both things on the last record, confirming my fears(and making me feel creepily prophetic), and it was still f***ing awesome.

If a band like Lamb of God can pull of clean vox, I'm sure Behemoth could find a way to ear-rape me in a softer more gentler way too.

Now Playing: Sol Asunder- Static

I nearly jumped out of my skin when Nergal raised his voice/howbeit in a teasing tone toward Seth...'then Seth said he was going to quit/I found that quite amusing their sense of humor. Yeah, very heavy intense Studio "workout" scene for BEHEMOTH putting their latest new album/Cd recordings together: that's alot of tedious work involved/and I'm sure enjoyable too especially when the pieces come rightly together. Bassist Orion very direct/serious in his playing - he was kick a$$ trailblazing as well his other music colleagues Guitarists Seth & Nergal. It was master heavy watching them workout! Awesome and look forward to their new master album release due in the Summer 2009, I believe. Peace!

That was the singer from Nevermore. Yeah I'm a fanboy so what.

I would buy this album solely because of the gear they're using in studio. Made me jizz in ma pants.

6. Redneck
7. Dead Seeds
8. Broken Hands
9. Now You've Got Something to Die For
10. Ruin
11. Laid to Rest
12. Reclamation
13. Black Label

Wow. I didnt think they would actually start off with the passing, but thats actually a great idea.

I remeber Chris alder saying something along the lines of that he wanted to play the entire album live from start to finish, and it almost seems as though the rest of the abnd might be kinda keen to that too at some point judging from the setlist. 6 of the 13 songs were off Wrath, not ot mention the fact that they pretty much ended with Reclamation. (black label doesnt count, because it's mandatory that they end with that song anyway lol)

now I REEEALLY want to see them again. and guess who isnt hitting florida during this current leg of their world tour? you guessed it., "Lamb of Goddamnit"
