Warbringer Drummer Nic Ritter Forced To Miss The Bands Next Tour
Young thrash metal group Warbringer has launched their touring campaign in support of their forthcoming new album, "Waking Into Nightmares" but the band have already hit bad news with the announcement that drummer Nic Ritter will be forced to miss out on the tour after breaking his elbow at a recent show after slipping on ice. A message from the band reads:
"Unfortunately this is not an April's Fools joke. Nic fell down the other night loading out of the club and hurt his elbow. We hoped with some ice and rest it would be okay. This morning we found out it was broken. Regardless, the shows must go on and we rehearsed as a 4-piece with Adam playing drums. This will be the format for the next handful of shows until we hook up with Epicurean, as John Gensmer has agreed to play both sets. We toured together on Overkill and he is a beast. Nic will be out of commission for at least 3 weeks, but will be staying on the road with the band."

I was at the Waterloo show and saw some dude walking around in a cast. I thought it might have been a moshing accident. Later Kevill said one of the guitarists was filling in on drums and I then put it together.
I was impressed with Adam's drums until I researched them on Wikipedia and it said that Adam was the band's original drummer so it probably wasn't a huge transistion. I hadn't heard Warbringer before, but it was the only band of the 4 that night that you could distinctly hear the bass and Ben's bass playing was pretty good. If breaking your guitarist's arm is what it takes to hear the bass, then I'm all for it. Heehee!

f***in damnit.
Funny thing is, I cant stand Epicurean, but I'm still happy they're on the tour now, since it means warbringer can still tour with a drummer, even if he's borrowed. Yipee. Find some good with the bad I guess.
