Band Photo: Faith No More (?)
Billboard is reporting that Faith No More have officially announced plans to reunite for a string of live shows. Excerpts from the article are below:
Faith No More has announced its first live performances since splitting up in 1998. The band will play a series of European festival dates this summer, according to a statement from frontman Mike Patton's publicist.
No North American Faith No More dates are scheduled at this time. As previously reported, only Patton and frequent collaborator Rahzel will perform at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in April, despite speculation about a Faith No More appearance.
Neither the lineup for the revived Faith No More nor the specific festival dates have been announced. Patton's spokesperson Monica Seide said no further details on the band are yet available.

grim, ur a f***in tool.
Patton is probably the most innovative musicians to ever hit the music scene...
FNM bloody better well re-unite! AND they better some to U.S./Canada, at LEAST Toronto...
Now listeing to: Vela, Together We Await The Storm - The Human Abstract
they said no dates announced YET for North America. that means there WILL be dates for North America.
Everybody calm down, we'll get our chance to see these f***ers.
This does get me wishfully thinking...if FNM can reunite...maybe, just maybe, there's hope that I can get to see Strapping Young Lad again...
Now Playing: Origin- Algorithm
f***ing awesome news i hope they (bother to) come out to australia. would at least love to hear a new album. awesome band, just hope they dont f*** up their legacy by performing/recording sub par stuff although i really doubt they would. ive bin hoping for a FNM reunion for ages cant believe its actually gona happen!
I will admit that I listen to Tomahawk way more...I guess I gave the nod to FNM due to the decade they were in...Epic lived up to the title for me at that time. Tomahawk definitely stays in my player more.
As far as Mr. Bungle, I never got into it though I've been meaning to purchase. Between Mr. Bungle (love the album cover), Disco & California...where should I start? I guess California is their most accessible. Favorite track?
psythe...good call man. FNM is great, but not Pattons best wwork, tomahawk is easily the best but i kin of liked FNM better than mr.bungle. but Patton can really do anything he wants, i mean sh** just listen to FNM, is there ANY 2 songs where his voice sounds the same? the guys a musical chameleon
lol, musical chameleon, I like that too.
Yeah, California's probly your most accessible... favourite song, (whistles) man, I don't know... I probably listen to Ars Moriendi most, but it was the first track of theirs I ever heard, so that alone could be why. It's such a crazy band, I don't even know if there is any relevant starting point lol
Now Playing: The Herd - "Burn Down The Parliament" (GREAT aussie trip-hop band!)
Cool, this site has REAL fans. Was visiting other sites that were talking about the reunion, and all people seem to be able to talk about is how Jim Martin isn't in it, and that it will suck. And others were talking about how much the US sucked! How weird is that?
Listening to their last album, "Album of The Year", I couldn't help but notice that their sound was kind of tired. It just seemed uninspired. So maybe after 10 years of rest, their creativity sparked, and they can make some cool music.
Anyway, this is the coolest news I've received all year. Now if only I were 3 years older, I could go to a concert. Actually, if I were $1000 richer, I'd be able to fly to Europe.
