"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Unanimated Finishes Recording New Album "In The Light Of Darkness"

"Its been quiet from Unanimated for awhile now, so i though it would be time to break the silence and let you all know whats been going on.....

"First i wanna thank everybody how came out to the reunion shows we did this past summer, the show in Stockholm was a night of magic and ment alot for us...And for the first time to play in Germany at Party San festival was a great experience. We truly enjoyed being on stage together again aftrer such long break...14 fucking years!

"So what the hell happened to the Re-Releases.....? The two albums "In the forest of the dreaming dead" and "Ancient god of evil" was intended to be released last July, right before our live performances. But due to a bunch of bullshit and legal matters, that was put on hold....(I will get back with more information about this later.) Everything is now sorted out and new release dates are being set for March. The two albums have new layouts, additional music and have been re-mastered...Sounds and look amazing! It was worth while to have this done, fans of these two records will definitely not get disappointed.

"And of course what everybody has been waiting on......The new album! On October 17th 2008, we entered Necromorbus Studio in Stockholm and started the recording of the new album entitled "In The Light of Darkness" . The recording process was very emotional and intense, we really looked deep within our selfs and unleashed the very true essence of Unanimated. I think we got the same feeling we had when we first started this band, four individuals sharing the same vision and the result is what Unanimated is all about. 14 days later with great patience and guidens from Tore Stjerna enginering...the recording was done! With a really raw and honest result.

"We recorded 11 songs including a furious re-recording of the classic song "Blackness of the fallen star" which will appeare on the vinyl edition. We invited some friends to join us with both lyrical and musical contribution this time, A amazing experience with great result. We had Erik Danielsson (Watain), Sebastian Ramstedt (Nifelheim/Necrophobic), Set Teitan (Dissection), , Erik Wallin (Merciless/Death Breath) and Necro (Pest) helping us out and sharing their souls with us...each one left thier mark and we are very thankful for their contributions.

"Anyway, we are very pleased with the result of the recording and it is set for release in April/May 2009.
Thats all i wanted to share with you for now but i will get back shortly with more info........"
