Velvet Revolver Coming Closer To Finding Singer
Band Photo: Velvet Revolver (?)
The Rock Radio reports:
There's been little news out of the VELVET REVOLVER camp lately regarding a new singer for the band, although auditions have reportedly been ongoing.
Bassist Duff McKagan told us this week that the group has been a little frustrated with the submissions they've gotten and even wondered if they would ever find the right guy.
But McKagan also said that things have recently taken a positive turn: "In the last, I would say, about eight weeks, we got three guys in that were all really good - like, far and above, more fitting than the rest. So I can say this much: we're headed in a very positive direction, and you might be hearing something soon."

Hopefully it'll be either James Hetfield (Metallica), John Bush (Armored Saint, ex-Anthrax), Perry Farrell (Jane's Addiction, Porno for Pyros, Satellite Party), Sonny Sandoval (P.O.D.) or maybe Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, ex-Audioslave). It'd be cool if Slash and company picked one of them guys as the new singer.
I tried very hard to like this band, and I was a huge fan of Scott Weiland, but damn, this band is too light for me...haha.
Especially compared to the heavy stuff I have been listening to, lately. Slash will always be a great guitar player, but I never really liked this band. Therefore - Who gives a shxt??? I don't .
