The 69 Eyes Studio Bound with Slayer Producer

Glam-inspired gothic metallers The 69 Eyes recently started work on their ninth studio album. The project is being helmed by Grammy-winning producer Matt Hyde, best known for his work with Slayer and Monster Magnet.

According to band members of The 69 Eyes, recording will take place at studios in both Helsini and Los Angeles. The album is still untitled, but expect its release in Spetember 2009, with a video and single this spring or early summer.

In between tracks, The 69 Eyes will be out on the road with Tiamat, Novembre, Ava Inferni and Scream Silence for the Hellhounds Festival. Tickets are now on sale for the following shows:
