Persistense Signs To Deity Down Records
PERSISTENSE (not a spelling error but a contraction of 'to persist' and 'intense') has found a spot on the roster of DEITY DOWN RECORDS. The band, hailing from Den Bosch, Netherlands, will see their debut full-length album available as of the summer of 2009.
According to the label, "Stefan van Vugt (Vocals), Ralf van der Horst (Guitars), Jacques Maas (Guitars), Mark de Haas (Bass) and Bram Trommelen (Drums) offer a blend of Metal, influenced by the likes of Pantera, Lamb Of God and Machine Head that can best be described as intense and groovy without boundaries." The guys have the songs "Sick World" and "Progress" from a recently self-released promo online at the Persistense MySpace page.
