Virginia's Heart Of Winter Fest Lineup Finalized

Richmond, Virginia's first Heart of Winter Fest now has a finalized line-up, primarily consisting of black metal, doom, heavy metal and grind bands. The three-day event will run from December 18th - 20th, with the schedule as follows:
Thursday, December 18th @ Nara Japan (1309 W. Main St.) - 9pm - $6
Valkyrie
Human Smoke
The Return (Bathory cover band)
+ heavy metal karaoke
Friday, December 19th @ Alley Katz (10 Walnut Alley) - 7pm - $10
Battlemaster
Bastard Sapling
Tombs
Infernal Stronghold
Cough
Antietam
Saturday, December 20th @ Rocks (1814 E. Main St.) - 5:30pm - $12
Withered
Evoken
Woe
Inter Arma

Fest organizers comment: "This fest is going to be a hell of a time (with) a slew of badass Richmond bands and sick as hell out of town bands! This is the first time a fest like this has happened in RVA to my knowledge. One of our biggest goals with this beast of a fest is to keep it DIY. We want to do it yearly and I'm hoping you can all help it grow. If you come and show your support for your friends, the music, the bands, winter, whatever... I'm considering everyone involved in the first year to be the OG's of the fest!"

This needs to happen every year and RVA needs to support some real metal bands like this lineup. If they do this next year they need to promote it alot more, I didn't hear about this until recently and when the hell did they book the bands???????
