Gondolin Signs With Sullen Records

GONDOLIN, the J.R.R. Tolkien inspired project featuring members Ethan of Vikarbyrgi, and Angsar of Maugrim has officially signed with Sullen Records for the release of their debut EP. Musically speaking, the band loosely follows in the path that their secular predecessor Summoning set forth, mixing elements of epic, black metal, and ambient.

The EP will be released as a Sullen Records / Open Grave Records split release, and will be limited to 1,000 copies world wide.

You can listen to two tracks, "Awakening to New Lands," and "Crossing of the Open Sea" from the upcoming EP at the band's MySpace page.

As previously reported, Gondolin is one of a number of bands selected as part of the second volume of the Christian black metal compilation entitled "Revelations."
