Led Zeppelin Members Will Tour Under a Different Name

Gigwise.com has issued the following report from Jason Gregory:
A band featuring Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham would not go by the name of LED ZEPPELIN, a spokesperson for Page has said.
Jones revealed last month that the former Led Zeppelin stars planned to tour minus their frontman after ROBERT PLANT ruled himself out of any further performances.
The revelation caused many fans to speculate whether the trio would be called Led Zeppelin or go by another name.
When asked about the collaboration, an unnamed spokesperson for Page’s management company, Qprime, told Rolling Stone: “Whatever this is, it is not Led Zeppelin. Not without the involvement of Robert Plant.”

I think they made the right decision, changing their name for the tour. But I agree with FAN.. without Plant it just wouldn't be the same. I know they're just trying to play again, but it kind of seems like one last grab at fame before they die. Don't get me wrong, I love Led Zeppelin and would love to see them live before I die, but I really don't think that'll ever happen.
Plant should do it for the fans....the ca$h gain just comes along for the ride, guaranteed profit.
In an ideal world, they would do a 8 month world tour consisting of ONLY 12- 15 mega-shows, distribute them well around the continents, get the full-on pampered on the road routine, do a few pay-per-views, eventually release the cd's-dvd's and then everybody goes home happy.
