Blabbermouth.net reports: According to The Smoking Gun, a 24-year-old Wisconsin man allegedly became so incensed by a lackluster karaoke performance of DIO's classic song "Holy Diver" that he assaulted the singer and a second man, police charge. According to a River Falls Police Department report, Kyle D. Drinkwine throttled singer James Mischler, 28, and his friend Cyrus Kozub, 29, on November 7 "over one's ability to sing karaoke." Though cops did not specify which song set Drinkwine off last week, Kozub told The Smoking Gun that Mischler was performing "Holy Diver". Following the assaults, police apprehended Drinkwine after a short foot chase. A subsequent Breathalyzer test recorded his blood alcohol content at .169, more than twice the state limit.

Kyle D. Drinkwine was charged last Thursday in Pierce County Court with a felony count of aggravated battery and a misdemeanor count of battery. He was released on a $3,000 signature bond and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing November 19. The charges have a combined maximum penalty of three years in prison.

I think Shredder is on to something. The guy who was assaulted probably said it was a Killswitch Engage song and got punched in the face. I would not be surprised if a cape was involved in the altercation.

No one should cover Dio. Dio can only cover dio, but since dio is dio, it wouldn't be a cover. Don't cover dio. dio legend. James Mischler and friend Cyrus Kozub no legend, no dio.

Killswitch are good live. No doubt.
Especially when the guitarist started throwing plastic forks and telling people to "fork off"

I second Diamond Oz. I have seen killswitch twice opening for Slayer and opening for Lamb of God.
The guitarist looked like he was rejected from the AquaBats.

If I may quote the mighty Max Cavalera- "I saw Killswitch Engage live, and it was the gayest sh** I have ever seen."

Since when have metal-heads really given much of a sh** about fashion anyway though? I mean, the music is largely based off of not being accepted by mainstream and popular opinion anyway, so who cares if you dress funny? They already think we're all satanists, it can't get much worse. :p
