Mortum Reveals Debut Album, "Awakening of The Primordial Spirit," Details

NJ black metallers, Mortum, have issued the following update revealing details on their upcoming debut, "Awakening of The Primordial Spirit:"

"Were heading into the studio with Brendan of AI Recordings next week in Bergen County, New Jersey next week to record our first full length, 'Awakening of The Primordial Spirit.' It should clock around 40 minutes and it will feature 8 songs."

"3 of them being re-recorded songs from our Enslaved demo which we felt that those songs were very good and deserved to be recorded with better and musical quality!"

"We haven't designed any artwork yet but we will most likely use one of Theodor Kittilsen's paintings for that his artwork inspires some of our lyrical content as well. We will use either 3 or 4 of his paintings since we hope to get good packaging with a small booklet with all the lyrics on 2 separate pages."

"The full length will most likely be released in early 2009 and we hope to make a pay-pal account for worldwide distribution. And we have no idea when we will get shirts again anytime soon due to the financial costs of our full length."

"In the meantime we are still and are always happy to play shows, so if you would like us to perform or know any shows going on around in NJ or PA let us know!"
