Band Photo: Led Zeppelin (?)
Rumours are beginning to circulate that Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has been jamming with members of Led Zeppelin in preparation for a world tour. A source told the Daily Mail; "Steve was jamming with Zep. They had a great time but Steve kept fluffing (messing up) his lines. He got quite flustered about it."
In other news, Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones has confirmed that he, drummer Jason Bonham and guitarist Jimmy Page will be heading out for a tour with a different singer. You can check out the Q&A session with Jones below.

I've heard aerosmith do zep covers with jimmy and they just crank. Robert is really great and I being an aero fan would rather not see steven switch camps for any reason, I think it would work out just fine. Robert has nothing on steven vocally or presence wise either. As for those of you implying Tyler or Aerosmith aren't heavy enough go listen to nobody's fault, round and round, and the entire rock in a hard place album. All that stuff is as heavy as most of the stuff Zep ever did. I think your more afraid steven would upstage them and be the story insted of zep being the story. On second thought that is what would happen it's probably not a good idea after all. Keep rockin with the real deal steven.
You mean even though Steven has the same goddamned voice in every f***in song, while Robert Plant has been constantly cited as one of the greatest rock singers of all time, Steven tyler is better?
So let me get this straight...
You think the Billy joe Armstrong from Greenday is a better guitarist than Eddie Van halen?
You think the drummer from Joey from slipknot is better than Tomas Haake from Meshuggah?
You think the McCHicken from Mcdonalds is better than a thanksgiving Turkey?
That's basically what you just said to me right there, so forgive me if I think you're an idiot.
Now Playing: Slayer- Raining Blood
the reason a dog: with all due respect, Steven doesn't have the range. He definately has the stage presence and I for one would never question if he was "heavy enough". I just don't think he would do it justice. I totally respect Steven Tyler and everything he's done with Aerosmith, I just don't think he's a good fit for Zepplin.
although i really don't care what they do. i would rather see the guy from alter bridge go out and play with them. i don't think plant and tyler's styles are similiar enough. and considering how much the tickets are going to cost without tyler with him it would out of this world.
There ain't anyway that Aerosmith dude will be the new singer for Led Zeppelin. How 'bout Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day), Max Cavalera (Sepultura/Cavalera Conspiracy), Phil Anselmo (Pantera/Down), Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy) or Serj Tankian (System of a Down), I think it would be cool that they chose one of those singers.
Now Playing: Green Day - St. Jimmy
This would be kinda cool as a one off thing like to watch them jamming, but touring wise I think Steven wouldnt quite fit as Plants voice is quite unique, as is tylers. Just the plants voice oozes sexuality and mystique while tylers is more like a straighforward rock thing.
Someone mentioned whitensnake?
Anyone here a fan of Jimmy Pages collab with David Coverdale?...
Funnily enough called Coverdale-Page
Alot of that stuff sounds really Zeppelinish, Coverdale is very similar to plants voclas aswell.
Stage presence is a diff story though.
Ah well I hope plant gets his sh** together and just puts us out of misery and tours with Zep..Its just wont be the same to hear no quarter or Kashmir or even the usual songs sung by anyone else.
Its just one band you cant change any aspect to, its sad enough we dont have john on drums but we are lucky enough to have his son who grew up and absorbed his influence.
Good Luck to them..and please Led Zeppelin -DO NOT MAKE THIS INTO A REALITY TV SHOW!!!!
I saw Robert Plant live with Allison Krauss earlier this year, and he definately is an incredible singer who will be hard to match. But Steven Tyler is a fantastic vocalist and is one of the few who would do the songs justice.
And for those of you who say that he doesn't have the range, you clearly doesn't know what you are talking about, and probably based your comments on the ballad songs of aerosmith that they send on radio. Listen to Toys in the Attic or Rocks, and you will see that he is definately "heavy" enough for Led. As for his Vocal range, check this out, and wait til the song is around halfway through, and then tell me he doesn't have the range for it...

Kalis: I understand, but most of the lyrics in Amon Amarth's songs show that the warriors obviously care for Oden and take an oath to serve him til death. You see, the fighters care, but Oden doesn't have to. I'm aware of that. Btw, I just say Oden so I don't have to use the word God. Thanks for the heads up anyway, now I gotta find another word:)
Oz: Thank you... He said Fall Out Boy...Lol!!!
Jenny: Thank you, all prevails in Odin's (there is no "E" in the old Norse it is actually Odinn ) court. Odin is also the God of wisdom and poetry (as well as war and death), so I don't think it would be accurate to say that he is an uncaring God. If he didn't care he wouldn't have any interest in observing all that happens in the nine worlds. It would probably be more accurate to say he is not a sympathetic God. I am not a follower of the Norse pantheon, but I did a lot of research on it to write a song (The Norsemen) a while back. So... Actually from what I understand some things are done for "the sake of Odin". To die in battle is honorable in the blazing eye (singular because he traded the other eye for a drink from the well of wisdom) of Odin... Just sayin...
Kalis: Haha! Great idea, but I think I can still use Odin, Blindgreed1 has great points.
Blindgreed1: I know Oden in the old Norse is actually spelled with an "i" but Amon Amath uses the "e". Kalis said he was an uncaring God, and I honestly don't know a whole lot about his ways, so I insisted my trust on the lyrics; the fighters care for Odin, and yes, (from what I understand as well as you) things are done for the sake of Odin. Like I said on post 31, the fighters obviously care, thus things ARE done for his sake.
Oh, I can stil use it! Yay...^_^ Right?
As a huge Steven Tyler and Zeppelin fan I think it would be cool on a few songs but not a 2 hour show of LZ tunes. Om the other hand the obvious choice is the voice! Paul Rodgers has the range, the stamina, the chops and the experience to handle this gig. I would love to see him front LZ on tour. I'd pay huge dough to see it.
Sorry Jenny, I got side tracked for a while. I would have to agree with Kali regarding taking the lyrics as fact. I am not aware of Odin being "taken care of" by anyone other than Huginn and Muninn (his ravens that bring him tidings), with the only exception being Bor and Bestla (his parents). Slain warriors are taken to Valaskjalf (Shelf of the slain) in Valhalla, where Odin makes the dead speak in order to question the wisest amongst them. You would probably do better to research this stuff if it truely interests you and not just take the lyrics from a song to be factual or closer to the lore as it may be. There are many very interesting things that can be learned from the Norse pantheon. As a result I have used many of the aforemnetioned research on several songs that I have written over the years. The tree of life and death is an awesome concept in and of itself. Check it out.
As much as we love our musicians we must remember that they are human entertainer's. While they may write of god's and goddess's, they dom't always get it completely right. I don't take a whole lot of stock in diety's either. They are man made. We don't need to go on a who is right, who is wrong debate. Just follow your heart, Jen. When you turn 18 we can talk of Satanism, but only then. I do not believe in talking to under age people about my beliefs. Kinda said too much already, but that is the most I will say to you; follow YOUR heart.
Alright! Kali get's to brag now. My company St Charles Place Antiques has been voted number 4 in the entire state of Washigton! Quite litterally there are hundreds of antique shops in Wa! Not bad for a crew of only 5 regular employee's and 3 good sized floors of merchandise to take care of.
I've heard this debate now on several radio stations now. i.e. my alarm clock this morning, the radio at work and on the way home and almost all of them have the same awnser. "Meh". He could obviously do it with a little more practice, but I wouldn't promise anyone anything, nor would I or anyone I know want to sit through a set of him wailing. However if I did do see zep I would only be there for paige.
NP: Andy Timmons - Pink Champagne Sparkle
Blindgreed1: Thanks for the support. You sort of confused me on post 43; I never said Odin was "taken care of" I said "people care for him", (as in) they serve him as their God. Oh well, I see your point, and I'll make a decision soon. The truth is Odin means nothing to me, but the myths are certainly interesting. Thanks again, and I WILL keep it heavy :)
Kalis: Thanks again for the info, I take it to heart very much! I personally decided not to choose not to side with any God (not now I don't think), but that's a whole other story. By the way, (believe me or not) I completely understand why you won't discuss you religion with youngsters.
bbristowe: Jimmy Page is worth it, but I think Steven's voice would probably drown out the guitar:D
Sorry if this is late, but congrats to Kalis !!!! Good to know her shop gets the recognition it deserves. Sounds like a hard working group. \m/ \m/ \m/
NP: "Killers" -Iron Maiden
No offense to tyler, but i gotta agree with Kali. i want to see zep, not zep with special guest steven tyler. How would aerosmith fans like to see aerosmith with special guest robert plant.
My feeling is that this is nothing more than a ploy to get plant to return. Plant knows tyler is an entertaining frontman and will not let zep go out on tour with him.
If by chance it does happen, tyler is used to being the star of the show. This wouldn't be the case if he fronted zep. They can try it but ego's will come into conflict and it wouldn't last to long.
Why thank you, Jen, Blindgreed, and Godlike. Tis very nice to see us voted in the top 5!
I know I am never going to forgive Plant for turning his back on the many, many fans that have made the name he has in the music industry. I do know that Jason, Jimmy, and Jon want to give the fans, both young and old a chance to experiance Zep. So long as Steven shows that he is truly giving an effort into his role as Zep's front man and they don't choose a douche bag I am going to give it a shot, and see them live.
God i love the ip logged button...
On another note entirely:
How would aerosmith fans like to see aerosmith with special guest robert plant?
i don' think they would mind all that much, with him bein such a great singer and all, but everybody would be very confused. Imagine "Dude looks Like a Lady" sung like "Stairway to Heaven". Priceless.
Now Playing: Slayer- Angel of death
Lol, we don't know for sure if she's pregnant or not, so I'm not getting my hopes up yet. I don't think we can have children though, her mother did a lot of drugs when she was pregnant with her and her brothers. Not to mention she's been pregnant before, 2 years ago, but miscarried. I'd like a child, though.
Yeah, I'm going to get one tonight after I get off work. When I return on Friday I shall have the answer!
Now playing: Psykup - "Color Me Blood Red"
^^ This song is weeeeird and manic, but the bass line is incredibly, insanely awesome. It's like if Primus and Cannibal Corpse merged into one band.
I like Branded as much as anyone else on this site. It's different personalities and opinions that make this Fvcked up world keep on spinning. In fact, I actually enjoy the fact that he is always ready to throw down at the drop of a hat (and usually does). It shows character and a willingness to question everything, even if it's for the sake of contradiction. I respect his resolve and consistency.
I agree with Bg1 100%.....
Oddly enough, I have never had an argument with the guy...., I thoroughly enjoy his enthuasim when it comes to flaming someone....In fact, I am definatly gonna take him up on his offer of hangin out next time I am in the Charlotte area.!! Im assuming it will probably be 420 when I arrive....and when I leave ;-)
Ya, I admire branded for the same reason I admire Slayer, good'ol mr. dependable. I laugh evertime someone posts something good about metallica, cause it means I get to witness a battle of epic proportions go down, and I don't even have to leave my living room.
Now Playing: Anthrax- What Doesn't Die
Yeah!? What happened to LM? red I understand just dissapears for a while and then pops up with something hilarious to talk about for a week. But last i remember of LM was sayin he was gonna be doin some sort of boot camp thing for a while? Or was that somebody else?
godlike; Damn... I don't guess you get out to the Southwest much? I'd spill a few beers with you. Hell, i'd even make up a special brew for us to finish off. It's been a while since I made a batch of "Devil's Speedball". As for the hug... I have issues. That's why i'm a threash metl head.
Uh... the hug thing was just a joke....!!
No, I dont get to the Southwest much.... and oddly enough, I dont really drink.... I think its been 4x in the last decade orso.....
Long story short... I spent too many years with an alcoholic bi-polar freak of a girlfriend who oddly enough lives back in Albuquerque now thankfully....!!
Until just recently, Ive been a bigger fan of the ol herb... but I got back into driving over the road earlier this summer...and the piss tests are more frequent for truckers... so Ive laid off ALOT over the last few months...
Just to clear things up.... yeah I do have some friends.... but nothing really close as in talk everyday type thing....My drummer buddy and I get together once a week and spend a day killing braincells and making noise.... but other than that......not much..!
I used to hang out with a group of guys that I had been friends with since I was a teenager.... but back in the mid 90s, when I gave up drinking...they gave up calling....!!
godlike; I figured as much. You don't look the type to... Just sayin... Oddly enough I have the same issues with narcotics in association with my Bi-Polar x-wife. I never really had the urge after I kicked her to the curb. I do loves me some home brew though.
NP: Klavier - Rammstein.
hahhaha... yeah, he should get a kick out of that Kalis_..!!
Damnit... this is getting hard to keep up with so many damn conversations.....
FAN.... can you give me some insight as to what the hell is going on in that avatar..... Is that you..?? and whats up with the hat..... these f^cking pics are too damn small..!!
Oh yeah godlike, that's me in the pic. My friend just got bored one day and edited a pic on my myspace by going into a paint program and adding a hammer and helmet and the word THOR to it, since that's what everybody says I look like lol.
and yeah, I can't wait till branded sees this thread. Quick, somebody say Metallica is God!
Godlike: We are coming up on a new decade so I would like to reserve 1X when you are in the area. The Devil's Speedball is about 8% alcohol by volume and my recipe calls for a half pound of espresso beans so by the time you get hammered you're not sure if you are comming or going. I only make it once a year because I usually lose about 8 hours when I drink it.
FAN: In that pic you look exactly like Mustaine when I met him in the KIMB-ABIG era at the Whiskey. BTW, he was working on a fifth of vodka at the time (and who knows what else).
I'll bite: I love the song Judas Kiss off Death Magnetic. Did you hear that DM went platinum yesterday? Metallica = The Gold Standard!!! ;)
NP: Must Kill - Cavelera Conspiracy.
OK...so 125 was for FAN....
and Bg1... most definatly when Im in your area... wherever that is...!!
I didnt quit drinking.... cause Im not a quitter..... I just got sick of hangin out in bars and spending money on nothing but liquid....!! after awhile, I just got to the point where I didnt miss it.....
BTW - the woman I live with doesnt drink or do any drugs... and drinkin alone sucks royally, so I just kinda stopped... she has no idea about me smokin herb.... she thinks I quit doing that when I stopped drinkin back in the 90s..... hahaha... yeah she is kinda naive to say the least..!!!
godlike; Tucson Az. (often referred to as too stoned Az). Yeah, my gal doesn't do drugs either. Just to be clear: I only drink on special ocasions. Last night we celebrated the haunted house being structurally erected (lol). The night before that we celebrated the construction of the wooden skeleton of the haunted house. The night before that we celebrated the purchase of the aforementioned haunted house materials and before that I can't rememeber what we celebrated, but it was definately a special occasion.
NP: Stone the Crows - Down.
Metallica is WAAAY better than Pantera, Slayer, and Megadeth put together. He'll get here eventually, just keep it coming guys lol
and yeah, I never noticed that before but yeah i do look a lot like Mustaine in that pic. Thank god I'm not as much of a douchbag as he is. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I spit out one-liner's like his. :p
Now Playing: Eminem- b**** I'm gonna Kill You
godlike; They're used to it, my step brother is a trucker, my real brother is one of the most highly sought after monitor men in the music biz and my girlfriend is the office manager for a moving company so it's pretty much the norm to have a semi/tour bus out front at any given time. lol. Let me know and we'll make it happen. All my friends and relatives tell me that I run the best hotel in town. The food is good. The drinks are good. The pool stays clean (although it's too cold to swim now-about 66F) and the rooms are free. Hit me up in email virdenc@cox.net.
FAN: ROFLMFAO!!! He was a total doucebag when I met hin too. But, he did give me a t-shirt of the VIC w/ the sub-machine gun which I have never seen to this day. It was a print from the "I Kill For Thrills" album which as we all know later turned in to KIMB.
I think Dave was just bitter that he was kicked out of the best metal band that ever recoreded an album (Tallica of course). Larz = Metal.
NP: Losing All - Down.
Bg1 - OK man.... not sure of when... I put your email address in my contacts...!!
66F... f*** thats hot compared to what its been in northern Iowa.. I seen snow over last weekend..!!
FAN - c'mon..... Dave Complain isnt that bad of a guy is he..??
Ive also added my email address to my profile... in case anyone cares..??
godlike; it's like 90 outside right now. I got my fill of all that snow business back when I lived in Philly. Now if I want to see snow I hop in the car and go to the mountains. The summers are hot, but damn dude, you can't beat cooking Christmas dinner on the Bar-B-Que in shorts and a t-shirt.
I have never experienced a Xmas without cold weather....!! hhhmmm... might have to try that..!!
Might sound funny, but I have my grill set up right outside the kitchen door... that way I can grill all year round...!! I like steak.... ALOT..!! Its colder than sh^t runnin in an out... but damn it sure tastes good..!!
I <3 Metallica more. hahaha
Omg Kali, remember how you wnted to see me in corpse paint? Well i have something a little bit better actually....look on my myspace and look at my new pics.
And yeah, i know for a fact that Dave Mustaine is a d***. I won't go into it, cuz it's kind of a long story, but i've met the guy. He's a jerk bigtime. (unless someone REALLY wants me to, then I'll explain later in this thread) :p
thanx godlike for the headsup on the posts...

yea kalis we did have some fun times back then...

Man I went to sleep for 8 hours and the bash steven tyler turned into a I<3branded tribute. Im suprised he hasn't seen this yet lol
i had been busy for a few days lookin for a job here in charlotte. noone hiring anywhere...tough times right now man...i just read the posts myself and was shocked to see them...THANK YOU ALL. yes i do sometimes enjoy arguing with the metalli-sheep a bit too much. i just love how they come flying like vultures to a dead body to defend their (cough) metal gods (cough)...lol..

ill just take that one like a poke in the ribs...lol...\m/
Hahahah... branded - I knew you would appreciate the read..!!
Sorry to hear about the lack of jobs... but it seems that its not just Charlotte... the economy sucks EVERYWHERE..!!!
I know you enjoy the line of work your used to... but have you done some thinking about a career change..?? Depending on the line of work.... there are some jobs, that are always FULL of openings...!!
Wow, everyone loves branded all of a sudden? I don't mind the guy, his posts are fun to read, but I wouldn't say I love him, lol.
As far as the issue on being a father goes, I have the results... she's not pregnant. And her doctor doesn't think it's possible for her to get pregnant either, because she has only one working ovary.... that sucks. She knew she only had one working ovary too, and she never told me.
Now playing: Cannibal Corpse - "Murder Worship"
TOG - ok man, I wouldnt say its a love thing.. LOL
Damn dude.....sorry to hear about your ol ladies plumbin troubles...!! Perhaps there is always adoption...?? I dont think it was right for her not to tell ya tho...!!
But then again... women are women.... If they didnt have vaginas there would probably be a hunting season for em..!!
lol just kidding of course..... I certainly dont need the women around here hating me...!!
Lol, godlike. Yeah, it does suck, and I'm sure we'll adopt a bit later on. I'm just not ready for kids QUITE yet. In a couple years, maybe. I do want one or two eventually, I'm just uhh.. well, scared, I guess. You know, that I wouldn't be a good father, even though everyone I know says I would. But on the plus side, I guess that saves me money on condoms.. hahaha!
Now playing: Cannibal Corpse - "Severed Head Stoning"
Hey man, being scared is all part of it..!! Im sure you would do just fine..... I dont think there is a parent out there, that wasnt scared sh**less in the beginning..!!
There is a always a positive side to everything...!! Take for example, having alzheimers.... sure you lose your memory, but your always making new friends... and everyday with your ol lady is like being with someone new all the time...!! and the best thing of all.... you would forget you had it anyway.!
If all had gone well tonight, I would be too drunk to type right now, and you would have to wait till tomorrow for the brief story. As it is...I hate cops. f*** pigs.
Ok.... So me and my friends were hangin out at my friend's parent's hotel by the beach. It just so happened that Mustaine was staying there that day, and was sitting like two tables down. My friend's mom(the manager) had to serve him. He was originally getting served by a normal waiter, but after b****ing a whole lot and talking to his "agent" or whoever on his cellphone, he got my friend's mom(the manager AND owner of the hotel) instead.
Mind you, I didn't really listen to Megadeth at the time except for a few songs, so I didn't really give a sh** who he was even though I knew him, so me and my friends weren't fan-nerding it up, we were just eating and chilling two tables down. What we overheard was him yelling into his cellphone (again) that flies were all over his food, and that he would sue the hotel if someone didn't take care of him.. We were eating in an outside in-hotel restaraunt. Outside. (!?!?!?!!)
So when my friends mom actually was trying to accomadate his insane request to get rid of the flies without moving inside, he still kept giving her sh**, yelling into his phone more and threatening her hotel.
And that's just what we overheard before my friend walked over and just grabbed mustaine phone and threw it against the wall and told him to get the f*** out. yeah, it accomplished nothing except to get my friend thrown out of the hotel after a bit of yelling back and forth. His parent's hotel.
When my friends mom got home, she asked us who the hell Megadeth was, and we told her about the band, and all she said was "Well Dave Mustaine's an a$$hole." She did say the other guitarist was really nice though. :p.
Now Playing: The Classic Struggle- "Do the Thing"
There are SO many options..... yeah Coverversion would work... ( and that would certainly piss off Plant the most......of anyone they could possibly consider )
Some other great candidates, besides Myles Kennedy would be
Lenny Wolf (Stone Fury, Kingdom Come)
Dave King ( Fastway, Flogging Molly)
Jack Russell ( Great White )
It was an Earth Science Fieldtrip but i somehow woke up enough to turn off both my alarms and go back to sleep. Didn't wake up until 20 to 11. I think i'm in trouble, because it was compulsory and formed a part of the continuous assessment for my year. I tink dat emailing the teacher person and telling her i woke up feverish and vomiting mite work but there wer only limited spaces for each day and 2moro is the last day its happening. So I'm not very hopeful.
Np - Bilskirnir - Weltenbrand
Just don't mention the drinking part, Irishmetal. That will probably do more harm than good.
Kali is feeling TONS better today by the way. Yesterday sucked for me. I know you guys don't understand what it is like to have an Aunt Flow, but asure you she is a woman's worst relitive!
I love Megadeth, but if I was the judge that got a law suit like that from it would toss it out just as fast as I got it.
:) thanks, but judges generally side with the rich f***s who can hire expensive lawyers that twist the truth around, and I'm not one who has faith in this country's legal system anyway, so I'm actually glad he was just blowing smoke out his ass, the whiny bastard, so I didn't have to testify or some sh** on something that was insignifigant anyway. :p
and Irishmetal, there werent any cops, it was just hotel security that kicked us out, just doing their jobs. Although I wish they hadn't; I would have loved to be able to brag that i punched Dave Mustaine in the face, that would be awesome lol
Now Playing: Korn- Trash
Unlucky - twuld indeed have been a very braggable incident.
And yay I got to go on the fieldtrip. So all is sorted wit d world. Just have to write a 2 minute presentation on some undefined sh** and then I can space all day tomorrow.
And then........... AMON AMARTH, MASTODON, sh**ty trivium, AND MOTHER FUNCKING SLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!
so what happened to this thread....?
yeah Mustaines an a$$hole, but it has nothing to do with how WRONG Steven Tyler is for the job of fronting a band with Jimmy Page, JPJ and Jason Bonham...!!
I can only agree with post 178..... those are some good options..!!
Don't lose any sleep over it. So, as I said in the Chris Cornell thread, anyone who takes this gig (with the exception of Plant) is going to be up against it BIG TIME. Don't get me wrong, it would be an honor, but everybody is going to have something to say about it and most of it won't be good. I pitty the fool that takes this gig. They're destined to be harshed out for the rest of their career.
^is he really THAT bad? I wouldn't have been too p***ed if Mccain had won, I admire the man, I just didn't think he was the man for the job right now. What's SOOOO bad about Obama?
Not trying to start an argument lol, I just wantt to know.
Now Playing: Pantera- Domination
Well, he spent 20 years having it pounded into his head that whites and America are bad and only droped that preacher for the election, spent years as a Musluim, attended flag burning ceremonies, and lets never forget that when meeting with our enemies won't even make the proper arrangements to do so safely. I could careless that McCain voted to bail those banks out. Atleast that does not cause war to spill on to my door step! Thank you to those who voted McCain. Atleast you had your head screwed on!
I do want to point out that being a muslim is not really abad thing. In truth, it is one of the most peaceful doctrines in the world next to buddhism, it's just the malcontents that use it as a scapegoat. I've read the actual Quaran, it's so f***in peaceful for the most part it's rediculous.
And when did he attend flag-burning ceremonies? I've never heard of anything like that, and I've looked into every accusation against both candidates I've heard. So far the only thing that hasn't turned up as either bullsh** or hearsay is the Keating scandal. You should probabaly e-mail it to me if you have the info, and then just say "f*** you!" on this site so i know you sent it lol
and it's not about Mccain bailing those banks out. Barack voted to do that too. look up the Keating scandal. I've studied economics, and deregulation is the reason we're in the mess that we are right now, and John was involved in a miniature version of what just happened in the stock market and he still continued that policy in his voting pattern. In any other situation I would vote for the guy, but with that under his belt, i just can't right now. 8 years ago, had i been 18, iwould have sh** myself if mccain hadn't gotten the republican nom. Now, though, I just think he's the wrong choice for the current situation.
And yet again America has sh** on a war hero! What a country we live in hu? "Does not matter weather you actually show enough dedication to your country that you bleed prefusely for it, we will still sh** on you." THAT is what more than half of America just said to McCain!
the black panther party had their goons at some polling place in philedelphia. intimidating voters as they showed up to vote. f*** THE BLACK PANTHERS AND ANY1 WHO SUPPORTS THEM!!!! nothing but a black power organiztion and they claim they are fighting for equal rights. all they want to do is kill whites!!
Kali: Agreed on all points (Zep and political). We'll see what "change" ammounts to over the next 4 years. Keep in mind that our current economic state was brought upon us by Mr. Clinton and his fabulous ideas about "fair lending". It's time to dig in and start hideing $$$ under the mattress again. I hope we make it through this mess...
I wouldn't say it's "sh**ting on a war hero", Kali, I just don't think Americans are ready for 4 more years of Republican power. They want change, and that was Obama's whole platform, really. Whether or not things actually change for the better, we'll see.
Yeah, I'm not a Republican or a Democrat, I'm just a skeptic, lol...
voting for someone who wasn't in the war doesn't mean they shat on a war hero. Just because I buy a dr. pepper doesn't mean I think pepsi is foul-smelling piss-water, in fact i think it would normally be delicious, it's just that Dr. Pepper was just what i needed right now. :p
