Nachtmystium has cancelled the remainder of their tour dates with Opeth and High On Fire. Here's a statement from the band:

"Due to some issues beyond our control, we've been forced to pull off of the Opeth/High On Fire tour. We're aggressively working to try to get things together for the 2nd leg of our fall tour starting in Los Angeles on October 8th with Wolves in the Throne Room.

"We apologize to anyone who was hoping to see us on the Opeth leg of the tour. Thanks to all of those who came out in support at the shows that we did manage to play, it was great seeing you maniacs out!"

I'm with Zontar. High on Fire f***ing kills. They're the only reason I was going to go to this show, although I heard Opeth put on a great show too. I could just never reall get into them like I did with HoF.

Oh yea, sucks about Nacht though.

High On Fire are great, but Opeth are f*cking gods. Their music is just incredible.

I went to that friday... prolly one of the last dates with Nachmystium... they weren't bad; their drummer looked like he was going to die though. I bet he's actually sick/something and that's why. Put on a pretty good show reguardless... even if I'm not a huge fan of the band.

High on Fire was pretty damn good, and Opeth was incredible. I don't care how you feel about Opeth's recorded stuff... they put on a damn good show live. Mike is a great guitarist (particularly on the softer songs - the jazz influence becomes much clearer) and a good vocalist as well.

Noooooo....Nachtmystium is one of my favorite bands out right now. Assassins is beyond awesome and Instinct Decay was a very good album. That sucks for anyone that hasnt heard them. I think their drummer looked like he was gonna die because he is playing the parts that their studio drummer Tony Laureano wrote and played on the new album. That guy is phenomenal. See Nile, Hate Eternal, Dimmu Borgir, etc for proof of that. Anyway that is too bad for a band with growing popularity and tons of potential.

Ah, I didn't know that. But it didn't look like he couldn't handle the drumming... he put a whole lot into it though, and that was evident. The thing is he actually looked like he was getting physically ill. The poor guy seemed like he was barely able to stand at the end of their set.

Also about meeting Mikael, (Yes I realized my spelling error) you're a lucky man... that's just kinda awesome. I like his sense of humor, too... kinda adds something to the show. (Though I have no idea what) The show here, they played a great set... I loved Hope Leaves... I like the bassline in that, simple as it may be

Also, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4NQz9vga4g <;-- video with the piss, sh**, vomit, cum, and more piss line :P the guy has a few other recordings from it too, if anyone's interested.
