I love Metalocalypse and Dethklok. How long do you think the show will go on? Do you have a plot line for the whole series in mind?
And how soon might the next CD come out? I know you have a lot of other things on your plate and you should take a break for a vacation in there somewhere. But the fans are curious.
Has "Metalocalypse" gone in a different direction than you thought it would, and if so, what did you initially envision and how have you adapted your vision to work with that?
Also, whatever happened with the "Metalocalypse" Explorer that was going to be made?
Hi. Sorry I'm not cold or brutal or metal. I just think you and your show are awesome. What I want to know is how have the characters developed and have they gone in the direction you hoped they would? I write sci-fi/fantasy myself (yeah yeah, I know, I'm as metal as a gummy bear) but I know characters have a tendency to take opn a life of their own. Have they turned out as you originally intended?
When is Dethklok circus going to hit Australia? Seriously our country is incredibly BR00TAL! We have snakes and spiders that kill in under a minute, man eating crocodiles, serial killers wondering the desert and a huge array of nasty little animals. Dethklok would fit in well with those other deadly things don't you think?
With all the popular trends and music jumping around these day and with metal most likely towards the bottom of that list. What inspired you to make a television show about death metal? Where did you get your inspiration for the characters in the show? Any plans for a future release? How long do you plan on taking the series and its music? And last but not least, did you EVER expect Metalocalypse and dethklok to become this popular, if so, what gave you the motivation?
I think all the questions about Metalocalypse have been answered for me, so I'll go another route. What's your favorite thing to do on a day off? Pretending that you stumbled upon one where nobody was asking anything from you, everything was done and you had no one to answer to? (God bless ya, I couldn't handle one day of your schedule with sanity intact.) Oh, and other than guitar hero, are there any other games you like to play if you get the chance?
What's with all the damn delays during the airing of the second season?
Two of the two-part episodes ("Snakes and Barrels II" and "Dethrelease") were changed to being aired on the same day, rather than two separate episodes a week apart. Is Metalocalypse gearing up for 22-minute episodes, like many other comedy cartoons?
Do you have any other projects 'in the works' (i.e. TV shows, musical projects, anything)?
AND
This may be weird coming from a metal site, but have you considered doing a similar show but instead of metal using a completely different genre of music, like folk?
When in the H3%& are you going to be noticed again and praised by the news i'm tiered of this under ground Metal crap you know and i don't just mean your band i mean all what, happened to Slayer,Daath,Lam of god and a bunch of other death metal bands i dont feel like mentioning!so what i'm asking is when will you be seen on every angry non jok teen's T-shirt and in the paper and on peoples drum sets and guitars and basses!
As you've stated in many interviews, TV shows can end at any time (lets hope not for Dethklok and there are more seasons to come after the seconded) but IF something were to happen to show, (I really can't think of a reason to take Metalocalypse off the air) but IF, would you still try and make Dethklok albums? The first one was such a success and I am looking very forward to the 2nd one. I don't know if you'd think it'd be hard to carry on a fictional band without the support of there actual story and the TV show, but the music is truely GOOD metal music. You're a very gifted song writer and all your music (Home Movies, other misc. jams) seem to fit everything to the exact mood. And if you didn't carry on the music if the show stopped, what would you do next? Can you see yourself working or doing anything else other than this metal icon. Is metal your favourite to play/talk about/see/hear or just one of the many great things. Thanks for considering our questions, and my many! Cheers!

given the fact that balloons are not brutal, and they are a forbidden secret pleasure to Nathan Explosion, can you please tell me how they possibly could be made brutal if that is even possible?
you can brutalize a birthday cake by making it of mercury, but a balloon....um..............
bear with me on this one, you see the earth wrecked from devastation possibly due to the biggest styrofoam cd promotional structure erected on top of a volcano. the only people who can afford to leave the planet are in a metal band. they have enough people with water and oxygen leave terra to build a great new place with unlimited machinery access from their intelligent spaceship manager. because there are only worm like creatures that are edible here the planet is called "planet jinkieburd" if that helps.
what is this world going to be like? remember, there is a whole ecosystem and civilization (or lack of society) evolving here made by a rich metal band.
ps: i have to congratulate you on having the live cartoon story going during a metal concert. Gwar ridiculousness, Manowar serious swimming trunk dedication, and maybe the talk between Slayer live shows who have shown a glimmer of what you are doing in 2 dimensions with animated blood.
First off, please make a second Dethklok cd, the first was amazing.
My question for you is, will we be seeing any more Dethklok songs in the upcoming guitar hero game?? Thunderhorse as a bonus track for Guitar Hero 2 was what really turned me on to the Dethklok music, and then the actual show.
So Skwisgaar Skwigelf is Swedish (natch), and Toki Wartooth is from Norway. Nathan Explosion is probably from Florida (at least that's where his parents live), and Pickles is from Wisconsin. What about William Murderface?
I think I've figured this one out: Murderface is Canadian. He has to be!
I mean, he sure looks like your average metalhead from east-end Montreal, right down to the mullet. THINK ABOUT IT! Besides, Quebec is by far the most metal province in the Great White North: the home of Voivod and Kataklysm and Gorguts, to name a few. And Canada overall has given birth to some of the ugliest men in heavy rock, from Geddy Lee to Devin Townsend.
Murderface is a Canuck. I stand by my theory until proven otherwise.
I went to you concert with soilent groon and chymera at the house of blues in dallas. it was f***in wicked. Deathklok i love your music, shows, and even your cartoon. keep on slaying the death metal scene for us hard core fans. OH!!!! HURRY UP WITH A NEW ALBUM IM WAITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How many times have you thrown out your voice in rehersal because of your growl, and do you have any interesting stories about it...personally, I was doing a growl for a few hours and I woke up the next morning with my voice an octave lower then normal...it was creepy. Do you just build up voice strength over time to the point where losing your voice just doesn't happen?
I NEED TO SEE DETHKLOK LIVE!!!!! I moved from Saint Louis to Phoenix. I don't care what it takes, I will have to see Dethklok or Revengencers will be real. I'm kidding I could never do that. I would rather die than ruin Dethklok.
When, oh when should we expect anything new from Dethklok? Tour? CD? I'm fiendn' for Dethklok.
First: Congratulations man! I've never been so proud of someone I've never met. Cartoons & metal being my breakfast lunch and dinner, you're creating absolute television perfection for me. The concert in Toronto was incredible, I'll be there any time you might come.
My question is, how are you dealing with the sudden explosion in Dethklok popularity? Do you enjoy working at such a fast pace, or would you rather carefully take your time with the show and the music to make sure it's perfect?
