De Profundis Welcomes New Drummer Nick Tingle

Guitarist Roman Subbotin of UK metallers, De Profundis have issued the following welcoming message to their new drummer Nick Tingle:

"We are very pleased to announce that Nick Tingle will be joining us as the new drummer of De Profundis. We were extremely impressed by his professional attitude, superb technical ability and fantastic feel for music. Nick is a trained musician who has also studied with Dan Foord (Sikth) and David Gray (Akercocke). Nick really adds his own touch to our songs, breathing a twisted new life into them."

"Nick's live debut with De Profundis will happen at Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2008. We are all really excited to be appearing at UK's premier extreme metal festival and are honored to play alongside so many great bands. "

"We would also like to thank David Andrews, who has been performing with us live whilst we were looking for a new drummer since Sterghios Moschos' departure from the band following his move to Canterbury."

"We are now also focusing on writing new material for our second album, due to be recorded in January 2009."
