From Autumn to Ashes have decided to call it a day. Below is a quite from vocalist Francis Mark.

"At this point I feel that we have accomplished everything we could have hoped for with FATA. It doesn't feel much like a break up. Just feels like the end. It's complete. I would say that we are going on indefinite hiatus because the term breakup suggests a more negative circumstance.

"There have been no quarrels between band members. It is also not a question of fan support because we are lucky to have some of the most loyal and impassioned friends a band could ask for. I've dedicated almost 9 years to FATA and it's become something of a security for me. I'm looking forward to feeling uncertain and the freedom of starting a new band that has no definition."

That kind of sucks. I did enjoy quite a bit of their music. But I can totaly understand. i guess you reach a certian point and then you just can't go on any more.

FATA was a good band, they had a really good run. Their music inspired so many people, and I guess they did what they could. They made a difference, and that's all that matterse.

It is refreshing to read positive comments about a metalcore band. It seems that most of the members of this site - despise metalcore. Advent is a great metal core band...they have a strong hard core sound. It is great.

A saying from someone who does what they do for the love of it more so than the money. Not saying he would refuse the money or anything, just that I am sure the guy could probably be cool enough to jam with a local band if he was around and had time to waste.

Lyrical titans they weren't.

"Royal Crown vs Blue Duchess" and "Short Stories with Tragic Endings" were good songs....Lots of energy with some over the top, if somewhat heartfelt melodrama.

Got really formulaic after that. Guess they thought so too. Good luck to them on whatever projects they may take on next.

man that f***ing sucks soo bad... i love FATA since the first time i heard take her to the music store.... that song got me hookd onto them,..... i feel like they shouldnt be over there last album was pretty good it was a bit heavier than there other 2 or 3? they should forsure do another album.... but i respect them for calling it quits before it becomes old..... last note.... im so depressed now lol im never gonna be able to go see them live:(
