Ascension of the Watchers, the project featuring Fear Factory vocalist Burton C. Bell, keyboardist John Bechdel (False Icons, Fear Factory, Ministry, Murder Inc.), and guitarist Edu Mussi (Still Life Decay) has posted the video for their song “On The River” online. The song comes from the band’s first full-length record, "Numinosum," released in late February 2008 via Ministry main man Al Jourgensen’s 13th Planet Records. You can watch the video below.

Very disappointed in Ascension of the Watchers, I've listened to the album 3 times and have had to put it aside as the music is extremely bland and boring. Usually I'd give an album that didn't strike first time a couple listens to let it sink in, but this is pure sh**!!!
Burton has taken the wrong turn at the wrong time in his music career in my opinion, his split from fear Factory was something I was dead keen on, and was awaiting some brilliance from him. I'm well gutted about the outcome...

Hmmm I actually quite dig the ambient electronica sound. Listening to some tracks on myspace I can see how FF fans wouldn't know what to think though...not bad imo.
