Pain Awaiting To Begin Recording New Album In June

Ohio metallers, Pain Awaiting, post the following update on their MySpace page:

"Since it may seem to a few people that we have died, become homeless alcoholics, or perhaps were shot into space, well, we haven't. In fact, we've been hard at work. Writing for the album is about 90% complete. The album will contain a mix of the songs we've had and written since the beginning and then 3 brand new tracks that have never been performed live. One of the 3 new songs is a reworking of a fan favorite that we had stopped playing about a year and a half ago. If you're wondering what it could be, well you're going to have to wait and see. Recording starts June 21st, you'll get another fun update and pictures around that time."

Pain Awaiting guitarist, Nick, discusses packaging of the album with the following comment, "Due to cost restraints however, the album will come in a plain manilla envelope on a burned CD with a hand applied sharpie label... Just kidding, it'll be professionally done, full packaging, printed CD, full color booklet, and it might even have a plastic wrapper. The CD can also be used as a frisbee, coaster, and a shim!"
