Droid have posted the following tour report:

"Whats up Droidz, the SHADOWS FALL tour was off the hook, we have returned home from a 3 day drive from Maryland to Long Beach, CA.

"Droid will be returning to the studio this week to begin writing new music for our 2nd release on Emotional Syphon Recordings. We hope to have our 2nd CD recorded by the begining of 2009.

"Droid will continue to tour the US on and off for the remainder of the year so don't count us out on playing your home town yet!!!

"The tour with Shadows Fall, KATAKLYSM, ARSIS and THE SHOWDOWN was a great chance for us to meet a lot of new friends, between the bands and the new people that we were able to perform for. Also we were able to have the chance to hang out with many friends and fans from the past!!!

"Soon as we have our next tour confirmed we will have it posted right away. Thanks to all of you who came out and supported us on this tour and thanks to Shadows Fall for bringing us out with them, they were a great band to share the stage with and were really good to us!!!"

Only heard 1 song on that digital cable metal channel, didn't sound bad and was pretty heavy. But even the worst band can put out at least 1 good song. Anyone else have an educated opinion of 'em besides tx?

I picked up there album awhile back. Its pretty heavy and has some good breakdowns and beats to it. Is it entirely unique and original. Eh not especially but its pretty solid. It wouldn't turn any heads in the metal community but its a in your face no bullsh** style of heavy music that it will get your head bobbin and the aggression flowin.

"tiny bit worse than invitro"....I've seen invitro open for Sevendust/Diecast and Static-X/Otep, they were pretty terrible. I've seen many local unsigned bands that were better. Only reason they're around is because they all have some many friends in other bands, they will fade.

Finally someone actually agrees with me. Yes, Invitro, for whatever reason is very popular right now..but personally their music sucks something awful. As for Droid, they suck live, but maybe they sound good in the studio. More than one friend of mine, agree that Droid and Invitro suck.
