Nightwish Cancels Sayreville, NJ Show
Band Photo: Nightwish (?)
Finnish/Swedish symphonic metallers NIGHTWISH have cancelled the first show (May 5 at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey) of their previously announced spring 2008 U.S. tour due to logistical reasons. According to a source familiar with the situation, NIGHTWISH's gear was to fly from Mexico City, where the band is performing on May 2 and May 3. This flight — the only one from Mexico to Newark — was cancelled by the airline and the group and its specific gear that is needed in order to produce the concert that fans pay to see was unable to arrive in New Jersey in time. Endless effort was made for this to be corrected and it was not a success.

You need to update your photo and info on Nightwish.... Tarja is no longer their vocalist..... Anette Olzon is their new vocalist... 'Dark Passion Play' features her. Tarja has continued on with her successful solo work... But maybe someday we will see her return to Nightwish... Anette is an amazing vocalist, but Tarja was the first.... I hope to see more from both Tarja and Anette.... When are we goingt o see another Nightwish album, will there be a second part to Dark Passion Play???
