Maruta Offer New Album Update

Florida’s MARUTA have posted the following update:

“The ‘In Narcosis’ album has been delayed quite a bit. We had to re-record guitars for a couple songs. We encountered some engineering problems the first time around, and we weren’t able to get a decent enough mix that we/Willowtip wanted to release. It’s in the process of being mixed/mastered by Scott Hull right now, hopefully this damn thing will be able to see the light of day in a couple months. We started recording it in late 2006 which is crazy! I know we jumped the gun before by announcing it would be out alot sooner, but alot of shit has been out of our hands.

We are still waiting to hear on the release date for ‘This Comp Lills Facists vol. 1' comp that Relapse is putting out. It’s gonna be a killer compilation with some great grind bands older and newer. Two exclusive MARUTA tracks will appear on it: ‘Chemical Tomb’ (which can be heard in our MySpace page) and ‘Behind The Steel Curtain.’

"The out of print 4 song demo is being re-released as a 7" by ourselves in the U.S. (731 Bacterial) and by Extreme Terror Productions in Europe. This is going to be a very DIY release, the covers will be silk screened in various different colors. Alex Eckman Lawn will be handling artwork duties. This 7" will be strictly limited to 500 copies in the U.S. and 500 in EUR."

"We have several T-shirts avaiable for sale. The Mark Riddick design has been printed on maroon and looks pretty sick. Go here to order. Other designs available as well."

"For those who havent heard through the grapevine already: we got an August-Sept full U.S. tour with PHOBIA, IMPALED, and ILLOGICIST. Select dates with MALIGNANCY and KILL THE CLIENT. Keep an eye out for dates rather soon. Should be a real good fucking time."

"Other than that, just the typical FL show here and there."

"cheers/grind on”
