Yea wouldn't call it there most brutal and the clean (yes I said it, clean) vocals do NOT work with this album. Its like Cryptopsy the sequel, and a new director is at the helm.

I just listened to the leak of this album. It was so awful, what a shame Cryptopsy has become.

They should have called this "Once Was... Now is Not".

Now Playing: Violator - "Addicted To Mosh"

...and wow, it's amazing how early something like this could be leaked - how does that even happen?

Complete garbage, this is the WORST metal album of the year. I can't believe a band like Cryptopsy who has built a reputation over the years as a band who has put out consistently good records can kill it so quickly.

Haha....once was...now is not. How about Not so Vile.

And yea stuff gets leaked early, its life, but that way I didnt have to waste money on this album.

God the clean singing is SOOOOOOOO bad, and its like (insert local "dethcore" band with stupidly long name here) has taken over them. Its almost perplexing as to why this happened.

I liked it. Yup. I really liked it. Instead of stagnating in the mired muck of generic knuckle-dragging "bruuuutal" death-grind, Cryptopsy have aged well, and have bettered themselves by adding new elements that DO work. I realize I am in the minority, but I really don't give a fork. I like it. Go Flo!

Going from "bruuuuutal" death metal to In Flames knock-off is hardly aging well. Maybe aging well in a similar fashion to that of a open container of milk.
