"Global Metal" is the followup to 2006's remarkable "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey." Metalhead/anthropologist Sam Dunn traveled the world to observe and document international metal culture. The film will be released in theaters later this year. The trailer is now available on YouTube (and embedded below, after the jump).

speaking of metal movies does anyone know of a DVD release date for "Get Thrashed: The story of Thrash Metal" I looked it up not too long ago and it said "May 2008" but was wondering if anyone had heard of anything more specific like an actual date, and not just a month.
