Megadeth's Dave Mustaine To Wrestle Chris Jericho In The WWE
In a move that no-one could have expected, Megadeth frontman and founding member Dave Mustaine has been signed on a short term basis to wrestle for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Word has it that there's some bad blood between Dave Mustaine and WWE Superstar/ Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho. Apparantly it stems back to the friday at the Download Festival back in 2005. Alot of people who attended that day have claimed that Fozzy stole the show. Never one to be outdone, Mustaine apparantly told Jericho his band was "dated" and should watch Megadeth later that day to see how it's done. Sources say that after Megadeth's set, Chris Jericho congratulated the whole band on an enjoyable set which set Mustaine off on a rant about how Megadeth were gods and Jericho didn't even have the right to talk to him. They came close to trading blows but Jericho had to leave quickly to prepare for the ECW reunion show two days later in New York.
Rumours about the rivalry have been flying all over the internet since and now the metal world will have a conclusion. Dave Mustaine has been signed by Vince McMahon and co. to wrestle Chris Jericho for his Intercontinental championship at the upcoming pay per view Backlash at the end of the month.
This will not be the first time a celebrity has wrestled a high profile before. Dennis Rodman, Floyd Mayweather, Kevin Federline have all partaken in angles with major wrestlers and actor David Arquette even won the WCW World Heavyweight title in 2000. Don't be too surprised to see Mustaine walk out of Backlash with championship gold around his waist.
Megadeth have also had some exposure to the wrestling world when for a brief time in WCW, mainstay wrestler Bill Goldberg used their song "Crush 'Em" as his theme song aswell as appearing in the Megadeth video for the same song.
The match may actually go alot better than people expect. Chris Jericho is one of the best workers in WWE both on the mic and in the ring and Dave Mustaine is highly skilled in martial arts. It should make for an interesting confrentation. No word yet on how much Mustaine is being paid for the match but it's expected to be considerably less than Floyd Mayweather was recently paid.

IF THAT'S TRUE, I'M TUNING IN, I HOPE DAVE, PUT'S DOWN JERICHO, SPEAKING OF BAND'S, MOST OF THE STUFF (MUSIC SELECTION) IS CRAPPY (EVEN SOME OF THE ENTRANCES), SO MAYBE THIS SHOULD HELP METAL GENRE, IF HE IS ENTERING TO WWE, IT AIN'T LIKE BACK IN THE DAY WHEN THEY WOULD ALWAY'S PLAY SOMETHING HEAVY, SUCH AS ECW/ WCW NOW IT'S A LOT OF R&B I DON'T CARE FOR, CAUSE MOST RAP, THEY USE AIN'T THAT GREAT, "NEW RAP MOSTLY SUCKS", AND THAT DUMB*SS POP MUSIC, ARGH!!!!! IT MAKES ME SICK, ALL POP S U C K S, SUCKS, SO IF DAVE ENTERS, I'M GOING ALL IN
I have too much respect for Dave and Megadeth. Wrestling is the fakest, gayest thing ive ever seen. 2 guys rubbing their nude sweaty bodies all over each other... if you watch it you are either a complete fa**ot or a quadrapalegic and cant change the F***ING CHANNEL!!!!!!!

yeah i know what you mean.
But there seems to be a big difference between Real wrestling and WWE "wrestling". WWE, how should i put this....is just total and complete bull f***. How stupid! no offence to Dave of course, i think he has better things to do though than waste time "wrestling" and putting himself at risk for nothing. But like a car wreck i have to at least catch a quick glance. However lets hope this is just in celebration on April fools..... ... .
Too bad this is a fake story, I sincerely wish it were true!
Between Dani Filth being on Big Brother (no April Fools Joke there sadly....A man I once admired is now a man I wish had never existed) and the fact that Dave Mustaine is about as relevant to metal as any member of the WWE (which is to say, Not in Any Way At All!) it would have been great if this story were true so that all of the world could see how lame Dave "I won't play with Rotting Christ because they don't like my non-existant homie Jesus" Mustaine is.
Dave's been known to have a pretty bad attitude over the years. In Pittsburgh at the "Clash of the Titans" show he spit on Marty Freidman for screwing up the little classical part in Holy Wars. When you weigh 75 lbs soaking wet you shouldn't run your mouth the way he does. Metallica kicking him out all those years ago really must have twisted his boxers in a bunch. Even with his d***head attitude he still fronts one of the coolest bands in metal.
Actually, very little pain is involved with your avrage wwe match. The only real pain the wresteler sustains is when they bleed from their oponent useing chairs and such, and those tricks are planed. Ever find it funny that there is always a chair under the ring and it takes them only one second at most to find it? When they have someone in the corner and they are "punching" them hard and you hear what sounds like a big punc, its the wresteler stomping on the mat to make it sound big.
It truely is a soap opera. Not even a well acted one at that. I would only watch it if Undertaker was on because I do think his gimmicks have been entertaining to me. Other than that I think its a show for men who are closet homos to make alot of money to indulge in their fantacys. I say whatever floats their boat.
Little off topic, but how come I'm the 1,000,000th visitor EVERYTIME I come on this site? is that possible? Do i activate atime warp or something simply by typing my name? f***ing ads, they aren't just evil, but they're also annoying. lol
