Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash has told the BBC that the bands current European tour will not be their last, despite comments made by front-man Scott Weiland stating otherwise. According to the article the band will be concentrating on their next studio album.

Rumors of a tour with Led Zeppelin, which were actually started by bassist Duff McKagen, have been circulating, however Slash said that, “We’ve got another record to do and we’re not even thinking about that.“

You said it... btw, does anyone know what happened to that guy who sang for Motley Crue during early 90s? He had one kick a$$ voice. Well.... at least for metal, f***ing Phil Anselmo is always available...

Methinks that the next album will be the last. Just like Audioslave. Audioslave's first album generated alot of excitement (much like VR's) the next seemed to slip in to the stores without many people noticing/ caring (just like VR's) and then they quickly went back into the studio to record their third album (much like what VR are doing). The only thing left to make history repat itself again would be for them to not tour in support of the third album. I really liked the first Velvet Revolver album, the second album was a bit of a let down and boring in some places but I think this band is doomed.

Now playing: Lacuna Coil- In Visible Light

They should find somebody with similar voice and attittude as Axl and forget playing to be a new band. They should write more songs GNR like and stop playing grunge. We need plain kick a.s rock.

Individually the members of this band have done far better things in the past. Maybe they will go on, maybe they won't....but either way their musical output is destined for mediocrity.
