Believer Issue Studio Update On New Album

Guitarist/vocalist Kurt Bachman of the reactivated late '80s/early '90s technical-thrash metal band BELIEVER has posted the following message on the group's MySpace page:

"I'm happy to report that the work [on the new BELIEVER album] is flowing nicely. We really can't wait to start mixing, but we have some finishing musical touches to put down first. The plan is to start vocals very soon and hopefully crush through those. We need to put some minor guitar parts in also and some other 'interesting' things. Very few have heard the songs, but we've been getting amazing positive feedback from those who have-both longtime BELIEVER fans and some who have only heard bits and pieces from our past. Thanks again to all of you who have been keeping the buzz alive by posting the vids and tunes on your MySpace and web pages and introducing others to our stuff!"

Their second record, Sanity Obscure, Was a huge influence on my guitar playing way back in the day. Killer stuff. Interested to hear what they sound like these days...
