Antagonist Offers In-Studio Video Update

Southern California's ANTAGONIST have issued an in-studio video update from Hothouse Studio in Santa Fe Springs, California, available on YouTube and below. The band is currently demoing songs for the band's forthcoming album, Exist, which is slated for release later this year through Prosthetic records.

Earning their keep in the local and national scene since 1998, and with two prior full-lengths to their credit, ANTAGONIST has already logged time hit the road with the likes of Light This City, The Faceless, Winds of Plague, Silent Civilian, and fellow SoCal metallers The Funeral Pyre, among others.

The band’s Prosthetic Records debut, set to be titled "Exist," will be produced by Fred Archambault (Avenged Sevenfold, The Confession, Deftones), and is the follow-up to "An Envy of Innocence," which saw a 2006 release via Dwell Records.

Live rehearsal footage of ANTAGONIST playing clips from some of their new material, as well as prior material and live footage can be seen on the band’s YouTube channel and on the band’s official MySpace page. ANTAGONIST plans on touring heavily after the recording of "Exist," and details on venues and cities will be available shortly.
