Robert Plant Turns Down Led Zeppelin Tour

Robert Plant has turned down an extra £100million fortune to take LED ZEPPELIN on a world tour. The rock legend wants to concentrate on his new partnership with US country singer ALISON KRAUSS... spelling the likely end of the famous band.
Led Zep fans had been longing for a tour announcement since last year - when the 1970s superstars reformed for a one-off show at London's O2 Arena.
Surviving members Plant, Robert Page and John Paul Jones were offered a guaranteed £100m each for a tour of North America and Europe after a million fans applied for O2 tickets.
But after extensive talks Led Zep - best known for the song 'Stairway To Heaven'- decided against the moneymaking opportunity.
Guitarist Jimmy Page, 64, was keen to do the tour this year and was backed by bass player John Paul, 62.
But singer Plant, 59 - already worth an estimated £70million - wants to concentrate on his new success with US country singer Krauss. The pair's duet album Raising Sand went to No 2 in America and Britain and they are starting their own tour in April.
A band source said: "Despite the enormous offer, the decision did not come down to money. They always said they would do the one-off show and then see how they felt."

I on the other hand have simply given up hope.If it changes GREAT if not Oh well.I'm done tortutreing myself.On the other hand.Godlike have you heard the new Sebastion Bach.I'm curious to see what you thought particularly about Stuck Inside with Waxl Rose.Good tune in my opinion.Amazeingly Axl is what really put's it over the top.I just find it amazeing that he's got time for guest appearances but can't release CHINESE DEMOCRACY.LOL...
In any evaent Axl was unable to save Bas's rendition of Back in the Sadle.I'm a little mad at both of them for that one.
first off....yes, Back in the Saddle is a joke.... Sebastian Bachs voice is still as amazing as ever...but the guy is such an idiot...!!
Sometimes I wish I never wouldve watched that whole Supergroup thing on VH1..
IMO... "Stuck inside" is the best track on the disc... yeah Axl's voice sounds great too...
but then again...he is as big of an idiot as Bach..!!
And if I say to you tommorrow, oh what fun it would be........f*** yeah Led Zep will tour....Robert wants to do his deal with the Alison......is voice is till awesome for Whole lotta love and Leveee Breaks.....They will pound again and remember that the Might Zep has sold 300 million alblums from only 12 years of playing(Van Hager under 100 million still poundin) You want more of me from San Diego?stickys4u at g mail baby!
