Katsumoto Signs To Uprising Records
Uprising Records recently announced the signing of Southern California's Katsumoto. Merging the ferocity of early era Darkest Hour with melodic Maidon-esque hooks – Katsumoto have built a solid reputation in Southern California for their super charged live performances, appealing to both rock n roll, and metal fans alike.
Recently featured on Myspace metal, the group received over 400,000 plays in one day for their demo track "I Reap You Sow."
Looking to further expose this local sensation to a national audience, Uprising immediately sent Katsumoto (Brian Yoo - vocals, guitar; Johnny Hirth - guitar; Matt Simmerman - bass, vocals; and Brandon Brown - drums, vocals) to work with Dave Swanson (Horse The Band, Saosin) where they are currently tracking their debut album, "Burn EM Down, Wipe Em' Out."
Fans of rock 'n' roll, heavy sing-alongs, and in your face metal, should catch Katsumoto on their upcoming North American tour, and look for their debut album this Spring.
